Great hotel. The location is perfect. Self serve bar was very convenient and included. Breakfast was also very nice. Highly recommend it

The employees were great! So polite and friendly. Breakfast was really good. Walkable area with many restaurants and shops nearby. Open bar was great. The only complaint I had was the room and bathroom were in need of a good cleaning. The house keeping service I give 2 stars.

Lovely facility. I would book double room for single person as I was constantly walking over and around my suitcase in single room. Comfortable bed,nice cr bathrooms, great breakfasts and happy hour in the lobby. Would definitely stay again!

Hotelli on mukava pieni hotelli, ei ehkä ihan nuorison makuun. Aamiainen oli todella hyvä ja maistuva samoin hotellin pienet lisätarjoilut, jotka kuuluvat majoituksen hintaan. Sijainti oli erinomainen. Palvelu oli ystävällistä. Meillä oli huone, josta oli näkymä kanavalle. Huone oli aavistuksen ahdas ja kylpyhuoneen suihkutilassa oli pinttynyttä likaa ja kalkkitahroja, mutta huone oli muuten ok.

We chose this hotel as the last week of our month long journey. We are certainly glad we did! Banks Mansion is a haven located near the Central Park of Amsterdam and within walking distance to Many of the must-see attractions. But not only is it warm and friendly, welcoming and inviting; their motto is an "all inclusive" theme. Happy hour with a full bar is open from 4pm - 12 midnight. This includes snacks with a cheese and charcuterie cart from 5pm - 6pm. The lobby area is set up for nice conversations with others or separate seating if you choose. Another wonderful perk is the full breakfast they offer from 7:30 - 10:00. It has everything you need to get you ready for a full day of walking and sight-seeing. The staff are very friendly and helpful with arranging dinner recommendations or a booked car to the airport. We enjoyed our stay immensely with Banks Mansion and will continue to recommend it to any who plan to travel to Amsterdam!

This hotel is not bad but doesn’t really live up to the hype. The room was so small that I couldn’t find any space on the floor to open my suitcase. There are large visible scuff marks and scratches along the walls and doors all over the property, which leaves the impression that the hotel has seen better days. The breakfast is pretty good but would benefit from more healthy or low-fat options. (The machine that squeezes fresh orange juice is pretty great though.) Pros: The pillow menu is a genuinely fantastic perk and the pillows are excellent. The beds are also quite comfortable (which is good since there’s not much room in the room for anything else.) The hotel had plenty of good qualities but not enough to make me want to stay there again.

My expectations were probably too high to begin with. The lady checking us in was very lovely. But I was hoping the all inclusive part would justify the price but found the cheese tray to be just that and the other offerings during the day limited in times on offer so you really needed to be quick if you want something. There are no signs or advice that you can't take a soft drink out of the building (but you can take them back to your room) I went to walk out with a soft drink and was called out to as I was at the door that this wasn't allowed, if I had known I wouldn't have grabbed one on my way out rather than being told at the exit and feeling like I was stealing. Breakfast was good, the lady cooking was lovely and made a great omelette. I would choose another hotel if I came back to Amsterdam. I feel the all inclusive wasn't inclusive enough to make it worthwhile for the extra cost than other hotels.

The open bar and snacks upon arrival was a very unexpected surprise, room was very spacious and bed very comfortable.

Excellent location, loved nearby Rembrandt square. The cheese trolley was very nice and loved drinks upon our return each evening. Enjoyed having water in mini bar in room. The staff were very nice especially the lady at breakfast! The breakfast buffet was very nice and pancakes delicious! I heard other guests being high maintenance with the front desk staff and they handled it professionally and politely. A/C in room was good and bathroom clean. We had a nice view of the canal but a bit of a sloped ceiling, not a big deal as neither of us were tall.

Front desk , bar area faultlessly friendly and kind . Amazing bonus having cold beer , soft drinks , coffee and tea , spirits and mixers all free and well stocked . Breakfast buffet was really excellent . Rooms lovely . Housekeeping / room cleaning variable !!

It was a fabulous place to stay. It was convenient for everything and the amenities were awesome!!!!

Honestly I have never had a better travel experience with a hotel. When you start here, you are family. Every person who works here is helpful, fun, kind and accommodating. Pre-trip communication with Cleo was informative and helpful. She offered wonderful suggestions and helped with any reservations I needed. Prior to arrival, I received an email requesting my pillow choice so that I could be as comfortable as possible. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast has many options and the gentleman making eggs is fabulous. He’s engaging, fun and cooks whatever you like to perfection. Susanna is your breakfast guide. She will give you Dutch lessons and even gave me a neck and shoulder massage my last morning. I want to return to Amsterdam just so I can stay here again. All of this and more for a very reasonable price.

The hotel has a great welcoming bar where you can fix your own drink with their bar in the lobby. The hotel is quiet and unique. The rooms are clean and the staff at the hotel is very accommodating.

Very friendly staff and a great experience

Banks Mansion is AMAZING. We loved atmosphere and the vibe. Many guests would hangout in the lobby to relax and enjoy a drink. It was safe, clean, and nice!

This hotel would have gotten my 5⭐️ if it wasn’t for the terrible WiFi. Not only it’s slow. But censored. More like Afghanistan then Amsterdam .. I couldn’t believe it. They block websites the parent company deems inappropriate 😱 The saving grace of this hotel is the wonderful staff . All of them.
