No ac, no pool or hot tub , dirty rooms worse ive ever seen. Rude staff, just a horrible place

Old tired room. No air conditioning. Close to the highway and quite noisy. It looks like there was a newer part at the back but we had a room at the front

Our stay was very good. Our room was very clean. The breakfast was very good and included a 10% discount. Our only negative comment is the facility is quite dated… really in need of new carpet. The carpet in our room had many cigarette burns. Looks like some renovations are happening so maybe new carpeting is in the queue. We would stay there again.

There was a dried up chicken bone outside our room door.

Good place to sleep we were just passing through. Wouldn’t stay here long but great for a quick stop

Great front staff. Room was spacious and very clean. Washroom toiletries were all Dove products. The washroom was spotless. Attached restaurant was convenient and the food was great.

No hot water ,some lights not working the people staying up stairs kept us awake most of the night jumping and loud noises we left at 430am going for a full refund it was ridiculous

The hotel is old and it shows. Our room had an odd smell. We were travelling with a dog so perhaps gave us their worst room. Didnt want to take off my boots as carpet seemed dirty and was not in good condition. Beds are clean and fairly comfortable

Room was filthy, not as advertised at all. If you like cigarette butts all over this place is for you. The restaurant is useless. We thought we would order something and take it to the room. No menus anywhere. My husband went to the restaurant to see if he could get a menu to take back to the room, they said the front desk should have one.

If you need to stay, it works. All amenities were either broken or closed. The room itself was fine but the walls were paper thin. We could hear the people below us until 4 in the morning talking, not partying, just having a conversation. Staff checked us in but I would not describe them as helpful. Property is showing its age. Kenora’s downtown came across as a little dumpy. Hopefully it’s nicer in the summer.

Beware of people travelling with children!! Please do not stay here, and don’t be deceived by the clean lobby. The hotel is terrifying. It smelled like people were urinating in the hallways. The room was very dirty. The light switches did not turn on the lights. There were bugs all over the bathroom, but the smell is really the star of the show… because what on earth caused that smell??? We have driven across Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta.. stayed in lots of places including motels that were not ideal, this one being the absolute worst! We left immediately, and hotels.com handled the situation so wonderfully!

A very old building. Rooms need work. Carpet was in a word... disgusting.

Staff at the desk were friendly however we were concerned with the cleanliness. There was an odd smell in the room, even after keeping the windows open all night and multiple red stains on the carpet. Beds were comfortable though so that was a plus.
