Very Disappointed on a Special Occasion 
We stayed at the Hotel Colorado to celebrate my daughter’s 50th birthday, expecting a memorable experience. Unfortunately, we were met with rude service at the bar—our waitress pushed overpriced “double” drinks, and when we questioned, the bar manager was extremely disrespectful. It wasn’t about the money, but the way my daughter was treated on her milestone birthday. Sadly, we left feeling unwelcome and disappointed by what should be a first-class hotel.

A very cool place to stay and learn about all of the history of this hotel. Because its a historical building and very old you definitely sacrifice some luxeries. Rooms and very hot and beds were slightly uncomfortable, also no fridges or microwaves in room. Rooms could have been cleaner as we found used dried contact lenses on the floor. The experience was still nice because it really is an amazing building in a great location. Just dont expect super fancy or great accommodations.

The location was fantastic! It was close to everywhere we wanted to go.

Old worldly hotel. Small ac in the room. Had to pay for breakfast. No refrigerator or microwave. Good food.

This beautiful and welcoming historic hotel has been tastefully renovated, maintaining its character whilst adding the comfort of air-conditioning.

My stay was on a weekday, so there was plenty of free parallel parking around the hotel. I didn’t have to pay the additional $15 fee to park in a parking lot.

This is a charming old hotel with some nice recent upgrades. My daughter and I have stayed here many times over the years when we visit the hot springs. Lots of lovely memories of the fires in the lobby and telling ghost stories.

Amazing decor, spacious rooms, lots of history, easy walk to Glenwood Springs town. Excellent meal, Kipp our server was very attentive & friendly, great food & wine.

We enjoyed the updated rooms and clean bathroom. Dog friendly. Excellent proximity to Hot Springs Pool. Breakfast was delicious but dinner was mediocre. Wait staff was excellent. Best coffee drink is the Brown Bear Frappuccino.

The building is very old but it has been upgraded very well. It's a nice experience. AC units were strong. Super close to a lot of shops and good restaurants

We love the Hotel Colorado and stay here every time we are in Glenwood Springs, 3-4 times per year.

Love the decor

Historic hotel with many interesting photos. Facilities are somewhat dated, but room was spacious, bed comfortable, and the staff very friendly. Sleep was interrupted during the night by the room air conditioner that kept cycling on and off. Pretty much what one would expect from an old hotel - good but not great.

Very convenient for those arriving by train. I had planned my walk, but there was a courtesy van waiting at the train station. Lovely hotel lovely outdoor dining perfect walking to everywhere. Very very nice.

The hotel was beautiful and very clean.

Hotel was built in 1893, amazing. Restaurant excellent.

Staff was friendly and accommodating but a hotel should really have a fridge in every room in 2025! I was also disappointed by the lack of amenities that I think of as standard- Qtips and cotton balls in the room, access to coffee in the morning. Is it too much to ask?

A lovely place to stay. The restaurant made a large error while we were there. My girlfriend has a nut allergy and we were served pesto that had nuts in it when we asked multiple times to be sure it was okay. It was not and she got terribly sick and ruined our evening.

The hotel is on beautiful grounds and the history is amazing. Unfortunately, there is no central air conditioning, which made it a bit hot in the summer. The room had a window unit. The staff was lovely and the location was fantastic.
