Extremely run down hotel. Carpet was ripped. Seams in the carpet were letting and torn. Wall paint scraped and coming off. Toilet seat in room was falling off. Room door was banged up and scraped. Didn’t feel comfortable walking around the room in bare feet. Bathroom and bed was clean or I would have given it a one star. If I hadn’t paid $600 to stay & could have found another place to stay the night of the Derby, I would have walked out. Very sketchy and gross. Didn’t even attempt to eat the breakfast. Just checked out and left immediately.

Need cookies on the weekends too

Older hotel but very clean. Staff was great. Food within walking distance. Was there for the derby. Location is perfect. Easy uber ride and for the price very happy. Will stay again if We make another derby

We stayed for the Kentucky derby. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great place and clean

The staff were very punctual at requests. They were also very tolerant of our large group gathering nightly in the lobby! We thank you for that! Our room was clean and bed was comfy even though they are double beds!

The service was very good. Friendliness of the front staff. Our room was cleaned with fresh linens the 2nd day. It was a great stay!

I had a wonderful time. My grandki s got to play in the pool. The chemical smell was the only problem. I have COPD so we could not stay in the pool area long.

A little upset from the pictures i thought the room had a jacuzzi tub but when i got to the hotel the said it wasnt a jacuzzi in the room. I didnt reserve that kind of room.

No rooms with 2 queen beds. Double rooms have full size beds

Pleasantly surprised by cleanliness of property and room, bathroom was spotless, freshly caulked. Gave 2 bottles water at check in which was nice and you didn’t have to guess if it was free or you would be charged. Bed and pillows comfortable. Not much in the general vicinity but there is a Shoney’s, White Castle and Outback with a couple of gas stations immediately nearby. Close to the airport yet we didn’t hear planes taking off which was nice. The only minuses: TV, you had to download apps and log into your own but they wouldn’t work and several stations that the guide says you have, show not available when you go to them. There was also an odd clicking/clanging mechanical noises from the heater and fridge overnight. Not constant but might want to look into. We stay at a few hotels every year in Louisville and this was our first in this area. Overall, pleasantly surprised and would look at staying again as it is only a few miles from our son’s house.

Hallway had a bad smell and had to have sheets changed. there were stains on them. Had a reservation for end of march but cancelling after this stay.

Breakfast was only muffins and a apple. Coffee
