The free wifi was terrible. Impossible to do anything, even basic things like google maps or instant messaging. So I paid 6 Eur extra for a faster connection, and it improved somewhat but was still mediocre (unable to stream 720p). Then, after an hour, the hotel's entire network went down. Reception did not understand my issue and kept giving me free wifi password. After difficulty explaining, I asked the staff to try connecting with their own devices, until finally they understood that their network was down. They tried to contact the ISP but to no avail there was nothing for around 6 hours. I had to cancel my video conference with my colleagues. You can imagine how I would feel about paying extra for nothing and having my meeting cancelled. The phone in our room wasn't working as well. However, room and bed was comfortable and clean. Breakfast is really good. But some daily variation would be welcomed. Some of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Some did not look happy even to just talk, which was quite annoying. If you are business travelling, this hotel might not be for you.

Un excellent choix pour visiter Gênes. Très bien situé dans le centre, beaucoup de lignes de bus à 100m, parking surveillé, les chambres sont au top, la literie parfaite, à 20 minutes des magasins

Som sådan var hotellet meget fint, og god beliggenhed. Det koster for at pakkere på hotellet, plus deres parkeringskælder er lidt små, iforhold til nutidens størrelse på elbiler. Men det gik. Og ved morgenmaden mangler der ikke noget.

Hotellet og de ansatte var helt topp ❤️ om vi reiser tilbake til Genova så er det svært sannsynlig at vi booker her igjen.

Sewer odor came out of the sink, staff got into my room without letting us know to remove a car, I had some euros on the desk and they were gone, reported to the front desk and they didn't even care.

This was one of the worst hotel check-in experiences I have ever had. We arrived as a family for our vacation. Our daughter legally lives in Italy and had her valid residence permit with her, along with a clear digital copy of her current passport. The rest of our family had our physical passports. Despite this, the receptionist refused to let us check in, insisting that our daughter had to present the physical passport, without making any effort to find a reasonable solution. It was 1:00 a.m., and we were forced to stand at the reception desk for hours. Instead of helping guests, the receptionist acted like a bureaucrat, repeating the same sentence over and over without any empathy or willingness to assist. After hours of unnecessary arguments, they finally accepted having the passport sent by email—the exact solution that could have been used from the very beginning. If sending the passport by email was ultimately acceptable, why were we humiliated and kept waiting for hours in the middle of the night? This completely ruined the start of our family holiday. The receptionist’s attitude was unprofessional, inflexible, and completely lacking in customer service. Staff in a hospitality business should know how to solve problems, not create them. The hotel itself is also overrated. In my opinion, it deserves no more than a 3-star rating, and the level of service is even lower. I will never stay here again, and I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

Quarto muito bem limpo e decorado, um encanto. Equipe de atendimento muito simpática e prestativa. Hotel muito bem localizado! Voltaria com certeza! A very clean and beautifully decorated room, absolutely lovely. The staff ware very friendly and helpful. The hotel is well located! Would definitely stay here again!

Pænt hotel med super god parkering. Morgenmaden var ikke prangende, faktisk kun 2 stjerner værd. Udvalget var stort men kvaliteten var ikke god. Pænt værelse, meget rummeligt.

An absolute gem! Without a doubt. Perfect location right across from the train station yet very close to centro storico and restaurants nearby. The hotel also has an excellent restaurant on the first floor serving local specialities. The service and food was excellent. The staff everywhere from the front office to the restaurant to house keeping were superb. We asked house keeping three times for service on restocking the minibar, change of pillows(they have a pillow menu too). All their prices are reasonable and offer more value for money. We opted for the gold package which includes breakfast, parking, minibar (soft drinks), and a 10% discount on all F&B purchases incl the bar and restaurants. The rooms were very clean spacious and comfortable. So were the beds and soundproofing. The Starhotel President will definitely be the hotel for us for any future visit!

Lage etwa 20 Minuten zu Fuß von der Altstadt, gut zu erreichen mit dem Auto. Platz in der Hotelgarage etwas teuer (25 Euto pro Nacht). Check-In-Personal sehr beschäftigt, etwas Wartezeit. Zimmer und Bad groß genug und modern. Klimaanlage ok aber nicht einstellbar.
