Continental breakfast was awesome... Pool was terrific.. Room was very nice . Clean and comfortable. Staff were super helpful. Resteraunt on-site was perfect... Was a great stay.. Will be back

Rooms were crowded with unnecessary chair/foot stool placed between wall and Q bed with no wiggle room. Curtains were not hanging properly at window, which this room was on ground level at back of property. Just could use some TLC.

Clean rooms and helpful staff. Nice pool and hot tub as well. The attached restaurant was a bonus and was very good as well. We would stay there again!

The room was very clean and exactly as shown in the Google photos. The air conditioning worked great, and the fridge was a nice addition. The pool and hot tub were both enjoyable. The hot tub jets were not working for the first few nights of our stay, but they were fixed and working by our last night. The complimentary breakfast was good and included waffles, eggs, bagels, toast, yogurt, and fruit—pretty much what I would expect from a free hotel breakfast. My only complaint was that the front lobby was under construction when we arrived, and there was no flooring installed at the time. The work continued overnight, but thankfully we didn’t hear any noise from our room. It would have been helpful to receive a notice about the construction before arrival. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend staying here.

I offered to put cash down for security deposit because I stayed at 5 different hotels on a road trip and paying for two rooms each time.it is a lot of extra money to carry around on my credit card balance for a couple weeks and ties up my spending power while I’m waiting to be refunded.Days inn refused to work with me.The damage deposits take a week to two weeks to show up on my credit card after they are refunded. My holiday is over before the refund shows up. Other hotels let me pay cash or just kept my credit card number on file. Days inn said it was mandatory to charge my credit card for Two rooms deposit. I hate it when companies claim that they are handcuffed by their policies. Customer service, by definition, is when you go the extra mile to make the customer feel taken care of.But they didn’t care about my inconvenience. I didn’t appreciate this and it made me stay somewhere else a few days later when I was coming back through Nanaimo. Other companies are willing to take a cash deposit, or just keep your cc on file. We liked the hot tub, and the breakfast was nice, the breakfast staff were very sweet and friendly.

Nettes kleines Hotel, eher für wenige Nächte geeignet. Wir waren zu fünft für 10 Nächte dort und haben es als Ausgangspunkt für unsere Ausflüge genutzt. Zum reinen Übernachten voll in Ordnung.

We came back the first day and one of the two beds were made. Apparently if you leave anything on the bed, they won't make it. I leave all my personal items in the room and trust that the cleaning staff won't do anything with it but they couldn't remove something from my bed to make it. They also didn't take any empty bottles that were left on the desk/dresser. They didn't take anything if it wasn't in the recycling or garbage even though it was clearly empty and for garbage. The last day, we didn't get coffee in the room. Overall, most of the staff was good but less than impressed by housekeeping. Pool was cold. Hot tub jets didn't really work. The place needs a major update. The walls/ceiling are thin. The guests above us were making all sorts of racket at 0630 two of the three mornings. The beds however, very comfy....

The front desk clerk was very helpful. They were in the process of renovating the lobby and the gentlemen in the lobby were also happy, kind and helpful. Slept like the dead. Thanks it was just what I needed.

Room decent clean, staff were helpful and breakfast is just perfect to start your day. It would be great if the pool water ain't that cold but overall it's a great place to stay. Restaurant attached to it is a great plus.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, nothing fancy but nice for your stay ... The beds and pillows amazing for a good night sleep. The continental breakfast included have a lot of choices but nothing hot ..the restaurant Ricky's, attached to hotel has a delicious menu..You won't be disappointed

I am not usually someone to write a review but……. As I was checking in there was another reservation that could not be honoured due to the guests not having any of the proper credentials to check in. The front desk staff was beyond professional even though they were dealing with extremely upset ppl. They maintained empathy and professionalism 100% and I feel they need this review as I assume there will be something negative coming their way! I do feel bad for the guests that left angry but they were trying to use a credit card that belonged to their mother who wasn’t with them. I appreciate times are tough but accepting cards without the physical person is reasonable. I’m sorry I saw them get turned away and I hope they found somewhere to stay that night! They are upgrading in the lobby and it’s well maintained for an older property. They have great hrs for the pool and a great hidden garden smoking area. It was quiet, clean and the staff were straight up excellent even the housekeeping staff coming into work in the morning were friendly and welcoming!

The 2 women who checked us in were great!! The hotel was under renovation so the lobby was a bit of a mess but overall fine. The room with 2 queens was large, but the bathroom was quite small. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable! Hard and every movement from the other person rolling over could be felt.

The room and hotel itself was good. My room was clean. The beds were comfy. My only concern was there was a very loud intoxicated guest a few doors down(cops involved) and I probably only slept about an hour and left at 3:30 AM as there’s no way I could sleep. The staff was there by himself and did a great job trying to control the situation, but it still was very loud and disturbed a lot of guests.
