Really unique Polynesian style. Beautiful gardens. Perfect location. Everybody was extremely nice. Rooms are a bit dated, but I knew that in advance. My only complaint is my mattress should have been replaced several years ago it was very saggy.

Loved the koi pond and pool area.

did not get the room i reserved.un friendly staff at both check in and check out.this is my 3rd stay on shelter island and this is my least favorite location. kona kai or best western are fantastic stays.

Beautiful the pool is great

Very cool Polynesian theme hotel. The two nights we stayed there. There was a yacht rock review band playing at the amphitheater, which was very close to our room. We essentially sat by the pool and enjoyed what amounted to a free concert. This is a fun hotel and a great place to bring the family.

Cute hotel. Staff was friendly. Entertainment every night is a plus.

We had a very nice view of the bay just wish we had been there for the Friday concert because we would have had a great view of it from our balcony. The pool is 9 ft deep which is not usual and this is great. It is Polynesian style and makes you feel like you are on a secluded island far away. the restaurant also has an amazing view of the bay and the food is great

The room was amazing. We enjoyed the outdoor bar by the pool and the service excellent and the food and drinks as well. But we went to the bar lounge and the guy at the door was rude. We got there at 4pm and thought about enjoying happy hour there but he told us we had an hr and then they’ll be having music but it was more like we had to leave within an hour. I ask the bartender and she apologized and said no but since we had voucher it was free for us. We end up leaving after one drink and went somewhere else for happy hour.

Excellent location, nice restaurants in the area. Great for marina enthusiasts. Really easy to get around San Diego by both Bus and ride share. Nice pool! Concert venue if you plan a visit.

My wedding rings were stolen by housekeeping staff. The manager, Melissa, was condescending, choosing to lecture me about using a safe. My rings were taken from our room by the only other person who accessed it. I’ve lost something that can’t be replaced and am so disappointed by the lack of care and compassion. The police were more helpful than Melissa. I have no kind words for this establishment. They don’t deserve anyone’s business.
