Had the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with a hotel, never in my life had anything like this before. We made a reservation online to stay here and paid for it. We were traveling from FL to Atlanta after work hours, due to delays and heavy traffic, we knew we were going to get there later than we anticipated. We called the hotel to inform them of our ETA and asked if there would be any issue with check-in, to which the lady I spoke with on the phone assured us it was going to be fine. She took my name and everything and told us she’d make sure the person after her would know, who would be at the desk.
Long story short, we got there, the door was closed, so we called the number listed at the door, which connected us to somebody in there. She was extremely rude to begin with. She told us she couldn’t check us in because the system wouldn’t let us check in past a certain time, even though we called in advance and were told there would be no issue. But this lady kept going, refused to listen to what we had to say, had no sense of ownership, and when we tried to explain that me, my husband, and my two little kids would be stranded with no place to stay at 1 in the morning and asked if she could provide some kind of help or solution, she kept repeating condescending phrases like “you’re not listening to me,” “there’s nothing I can do,” “I don’t know who you talked to,” and “I don’t know who you are,” followed by “I’m in the laundry room and extrem
