Nice big room. Central location.

Great location, service, and a very full breakfast. Enjoyed the roof top terrace.

I appreciated they had gluten free options with the complimentary breakfast. Lots of options to eat. Hotel was clean and in a walkable location so it had everything we needed!

Everything was lovely until we checked out..front desk lady was just shy if rude when we simply asked for a receipt..she kept looking at her computer and while doing so, explained that because we booked our stay through a third party,we wouldn't get a receipt ..this left us feeling very uneasy..the polite thing to do,in my opinion , was to say”I’ll be with you in a moment” then leave her computer and speak to us face to face and explain to us fully why we wouldn’t be getting a receipt..she could see we were concerned about this..I took the time to call the hotel manager when we returned home explaining the above situation..we stayed at this hotel last year..loved it and so chose to stay again..there are many hotels to choose from..sadly,due to this one person,we’ll think twice about starting here again

Excellent location close to everything. Comfortable rooms but building is showing its age.

loved the location and the staff, particularly Kathy Charvi and Amber Tsang who were both very kind and quite thoughtful. We enjoyed our conversations with them very much and they were very helpful. Having breakfast provided at the hotel is great. If I can suggest, the hummus needs to be smoother and a greater variety of vegetables to go along with it would be ideal. The dining room staff were very helpful.

A very good continental breakfast. Also, a great location if you don’t mind walking a little bit.

We had the king suite. It was enough space for my husband and I and teen boys. Great full size kitchen amenities. An additional chair or suitcase holder would have been helpful and a shower wand in the bathroom. The view from The room was great looking at the water. The breakfast was good but it’s too bad we had to pay extra for bacon or sausage. Eggs were available daily along with pancakes or waffles fresh fruit and good coffee. We would go back it was a good location in downtown Halifax everything was in walking distance and lots of good restaurants all around !! It was clean and the staff we were lovely.

This is our third stay here and it’s location, cleanliness and friendliness of the staff will have us coming back. convenient to the shops, restaurants and a quick walk down the hill to the wharf.

The location was absolutely perfect!! Loved the coffee and water in the lobby!! The breakfast had numerous options and the staff was constantly keeping food topped up. Comfortable bed and room temperature. Check in was a breeze. Noon check out, as opposed to eleven check out, was great!!

We were upgraded to a king suite from a standard queen and it was our first adventure away! Lovely and accommodating staff

The rooms were pretty clean, the breakfast was good, and the staff were very helpful, but what stood out for me was the proximity to all the activities I had planned. Want to experience downtown Halifax? This hotel will make it easy for you.

very clean room. nice views. hot tub and roof top patio nice bonus. bed was quite soft but not uncomfortable. included buffet breakfast had nice variety. will come back next time i’m in Halifax

2nd stay at the Cambridge, good location across the citadel short walk to the boardwalk. Rate includes breakfast with plenty of choices.
