Appreciated the staff friendliness and helpfulness as well as the clean lobby and room. Good location for accessing shopping and the Saddledome without a vehicle.

I was in Calgary on business and the hotel allowed me to be in proximity to the things I needed for business and out of the core, near several restaurants after working hours. The room was clean, though the cleaning was sort of hit and miss. I did do some work from my room which may be why they never stopped by. Breakfast was included and the selection of food offerings was more than ample to start the day. Parking was ample and the area seemed quiet and safe. The only concern was the functioning of the elevator. I was on the third floor and there was one day in particular when the elevator would not pass the 2nd floor and stopped rather violently. I was unable to call out and the buttons did not functionf or some minutes. It eventually got down to the lobby level again and I took the stairs. It was an intermittent flaw, but disconcerting.

Breakfast was good. There was no tap option for credit card machine to pay for security deposit ( sucks cause I forgot my pin) . Elevators was out of service during my stay. Did not impact me as I was on second floor. I could hear the people in the room next to mine, please bring earplugs. No hot water Sunday morning 4 am, not sure why, I didn't bother complaining as I was leaving. I like the location of the hotel,convenient for the c train stop nearby. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Pool is not open. No advance information before the check in. Our kids are excited that they can use the pool but not. They should inform us in advance. Our kids are sad.

1 Star Unfortunately, this was one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I’ve had. When I arrived to check in, the process took nearly 30 minutes. I had my booking number ready and repeatedly explained that the last name on the reservation was different from the last name on my ID. I mentioned this at least six times, but every time I tried to explain, the front desk agent cut me off and told me to wait. Another employee overheard me mention the correct last name and found the reservation in seconds. Things only got worse from there. During payment, the employee took my credit card and repeatedly walked away with it behind the counter. After inserting it into the machine, she handed it back, but when I went to remove my own card from the terminal, she abruptly pulled both the machine and my card away and continued walking around with it. It was very uncomfortable and unprofessional. The elevator was painfully slow, and when we tried taking the stairs instead, they only led to the first floor. Back at the elevator, a young girl warned us that people sometimes get stuck in it, which wasn’t exactly reassuring. We also discovered the hot tub wasn’t working. That would have been nice to know before choosing this hotel or at least during check-in, but nobody mentioned it. Once we finally reached our room, it took another five minutes to get inside because although the key card was flashing green, the door handle wouldn’t open. Location was good for us. The room and bathroom were nice and clean. Looked updated. Unfortunately the air conditioner was very noisy and the pool and hot tub were out of order resulting in our stay being a disappointment

The pool and hot tub were closed and we were looking forward to it in the morning. I don't think they shld charge full rate when this is the case.

The ladies at the front desk were rude to me

Showers were cold. Everything else was fine, but no hot water (or not enough to actually enjoy a shower) is unacceptable. Stayed several others and we all had the same issue.

Chambres mal isolées . Personne qui ne répond à la réception à minuit malgré 3 appels. Pas de places de parking suffisantes. Chambre pas prête à 15h. Personnel au front desk peu serviable

Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is a bit worn down - small things like the toilet handle needing to be held to get a full flush and hot water suddenly running cold. Walking distance to some nice bars but the area is a little bit sketch. Also, the hot tub was out of order during our stay :(

It’s ok

When we arrived we meant to meet our daughter and her children for dinner in the restaurant. However, it was closed. The hot tub didn’t work. When it started to rain we woke up to the roof leaking on our pillows. It was very early on check out day so we just left.

Convenient location, nice breakfast.
