Over all it was ok but I feel their signature dark decor conceals the lack of cleaning in some areas.

Staff all very friendly and helpful. No noise at night despite the quayside location. Breakfast was great. Room was a good size, as was the bathroom. Bridge view room definitely had a view if the bridge. Very enjoyable 3 night stay.

Stayed for a birthday, room was lovely and clean! Breakfast was great. We ended up extending our stay for another night. Sunday lunch is a must! We will definitely return.

This is a great hotel with good Staff the location on the key side is lovely but it is a walk up to the city Centre or a Q3 bus which is not that frequent or walking to Manors Metro which is quite a distance and not a very pleasant walk

Stayed at Malmaison Newcastle for a business trip and had a great experience. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet, making it easy to relax after a long day. The Quayside location is excellent, with plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. The breakfast was excellent, with a good choice of freshly cooked options alongside a buffet offering pastries, fresh fruit, granola and hot drinks. Friendly staff and a smooth check-in made for a hassle-free stay. Would happily stay again.

Prachtig hotel, goed gelegen, vriendelijk personeel, enz. Spijtig dat rond 5-6 uur in de morgen er een hels lawaai was door een vrachtwagen die net onder ons raam was geparkeerd. De chauffeur deed erg zijn best om zoveel mogelijk lawaai te maken tijdens het in of uitladen van goederen voor het hotel. Best geen kamer aan de achterzijde.

Great stay for us is a regular room but which was actually really large. We’d have liked the gym to be a bit bigger and for the coffee shop to open before 9am - this didn’t detract from our stay.
