The property overall is good. Location is great and the rooms are clean. Some staff I found were helpful and pleasant, some staff needed to share issues they were having on their shift. The breakfast could use a bit more variety.

Came to Orillia for a concert. 10/10 recommend staying at Comfort Inn! It was affordable & very friendly staff!

Some staff was friendly and some were not. When we checked in there was pee on the toilet seat so I called the front desk to ask them to get someone to come clean it and they sent somebody and she supposedly cleaned it and then when I went to use the bathroom, the pee was still there then I went to the front desk and he told me to go find housekeeping myself, so I went and found them and told her that there was still pee on the seat and she came to clean it because the other girl didn’t do a good job. The heat in the room didn’t work so I’m not satisfied with my stay.

The staff was fast and friendly, room was clean and nice. I just wish they had an elevator, even though only two stories, difficult for limitations of bad knees! I’d stay here again.

It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about making guests feel comfortable, but Alex truly goes above and beyond. Their customer service was exceptional — friendly, efficient, and thoughtful in every interaction. They made the check-in process seamless and were happy to answer questions and ensure everything about my stay was perfect. Alex is a fantastic representative of the Comfort Inn brand, and their positive attitude really stood out. Because of service like this, I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this location to others. Thank you, Alex, for making my stay such a pleasant one!

Other than the limited parking a great place to stay. Very kind staff and nice breakfast. Great lemon water always available.

Clean room, excellent breakfast..

My sisters and i boiked this trip for my Dad as a birthday gift. He said he had a wonderful time. The room i booked was on the second floor, and i didn't check for an elevator. The staff were wonderful and switched my Dad to a ground floor room, as he would've struggled on the stairs. To me this is over and above, it was my mistake and they facilitated a safe stay. Thank you to the staff for taking good care of my wonderful Dad.

The front desk was very helpful. When we checked in our room had not been cleaned when we tried to go inside. Aftwr returning to the front desk, she quickly switched our room.

Thermostat wasn't working properly. Got a little warm in the room. 27degrees. Drain in tub very slow.

The staff was great and the room was clean. The TV was very sharp - and we enjoyed watching the Olympics. The English muffins at breakfast were frozen and difficult to cut for the toaster, but otherwise, we appreciated the cheerfulness of the staff. Thank you for a great stay!

Overall, my stay was okay, but there are a few areas that could definitely use improvement. Check-in took much longer than expected due to there being only one front desk employee assisting multiple guests, with no additional support. During busy periods, it would have been helpful if a manager or additional staff member had stepped in to assist, as the employee appeared overwhelmed and was doing his best on his own. I do want to give a special shoutout to the breakfast attendant—she was wonderful. She was friendly and truly made guests feel welcomed in the morning. Her positive attitude stood out and was a highlight of the stay. Another concern was snow removal, particularly in the parking area in front of the rooms. Snowbanks were piled throughout the area, making it difficult to see where to park or to park properly at all. More thorough snow clearing would greatly improve safety and convenience for guests, especially during winter conditions. With better front desk support during peak times and improved snow removal, this hotel could offer a much smoother guest experience.
