The reception manager was not helpful at all on wasn’t interested with any problems we had didn’t help to solve them either. Our room was not cleaned for three days no clean towels no toilet rolls bins were full despite me putting the clean room sign on the door every morning. I had to go to reception to collect clean towels toilet rolls tea and coffee etc we had three days worth of dirty towels in our superior room

Lovely staff, clean and a decent breakfast.

The food served from the Hog's Back Hotel was excellent. A fan was provided to help us survive during the heat, and the beds were comfortable. The pool and garden areas were amazing! The things that would help us rate this Hotel "excellent" rather than "good" would be a guest laundry room and air conditioning.

Not equipped for hot weather, rooms have no A/C, just a small fan & windows open a little. Had to keep curtains closed as room was too hot. Also propped open the hotel room door during the day to get air circulating. Rooms need to be upgraded with A/C or ceiling fan. Very hard to sleep with hot stuffy conditions. They Could also use an ice making machine available to customers during hot temps.

Lovely clean room. Pool very nice with friendly staff (changing rooms were a bit chilly). Seemed quite quiet at night which was nice and peaceful. Overall a nice place to stay.

Very friendly team, food was very good and the use of the spa was excellent thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Nice room, clean hotel - only staying to go to a wedding elsewhere, so didn’t manage to use the facilities, but great location for what we needed

The rooms and linen were clean; the staff were helpful when asked. The breakfast and dinner amenities looked OK - but we didnt use any of these.

Lovely room and facilities staff not that friendly, had an issue at dinner I had pork belly which wasn't crispy and my friend for a bone in her fish. The manager Jose excuse was its because there Was a wedding on

We had dinner in an almost empty dining room. The meals were served up but no one checked on us during the meal. My partner had no cheese in his burger. We mentioned this at when the plates were being cleared and it was mentioned to the chef and manager but no apologies or no compensation. The coffee sachets in the room used the cheapest coffee possible and it tasted awful. We had breakfast, which was okay but nothing special. I admit that they stopped serving at 9.30 and we went down at 9.00 but most of the cooked food looked like it had been there since they started serving and the coffee was very weak.

Excellent breakfast. Easy access to Guildford.

The Spa facilities were excellent as were the therapists. Top notch. Lovely helpful staff all round. Expected a bigger garden but it was still nice with good seating areas and lovely views. Would go again l, even if only for the spa.

Room was lovely and clean with helpful staff. Facilities were really good and I really enjoyed my massage.

Pleasant room and bathroom. Breakfast good qith plenty of choice. We stayed during a heatwave and our room was like an oven even with 2 fans so it was hard to get to sleep. The window opened a bit but not enough to make a real difference..

The hottest day of the year so far and the room was hotter than outside, hotter than the corridor. No sleep. Thank god for the cold tap and bath to cool down intermittently. Its a spa hotel with nice restaurant and gym etc, but no aircon! Why?
