This is possibly one of the worst Marriot locations and definitely one of the worst hotels to stay at in Niagara, Ontario.
The AC does not work, staff is unhelpful and rude (everythings seems to be someone elses problem), the hotel lacks the necessary resources (helpful staff, luggage carts, etc) to properly support all of the guests that they have from the moment they walk in the door to the moment they leave.
The hallways smell damp and are hot most of the time. The windows are so dirty that the view is not worth the money you're spending. Elevators are kept smelling "fresh" with what appears to be urinal cakes above the lighting fixture. The elavators are also an inconvenience. Given that not all 5 elevators go to all floors youre stuck waiting for long periods of time just to get to your room or back down to the lobby.
The hotel brekfast is disgusting and feels like its been sitting for days. The parking lot is also an extremely far walk from the hotel. Since they wont allow you to park outside the hotel for more than 5 minutes and cant provide enough luggage carts, youre forced to carry bags across multiple parking lots to get to you car in the designated parking lot for guests. They also charge an additional tourist tax similar to many businesses in the area.
As a Marriott Bonvoy member i would not recommend staying here. You would be better off at the Embassy next door or the Sheraton down the road.
