Room was clean, good location.

We came with our dogs so this write up is to be expected. We had two dogs and unfortunately we were in the ‘dog’ room for obvious reasons. The issue was not cleanliness, it was the over powering of deodorizer because so many animals had been there. They should really crop the curtains so animals can pee on them. They could put a tile floor instead of carpet which would avoid the need to over deodorize. The other issue was the bed. We have stayed here many times before without issue but this time we both woke up broken! Again to be expected in the ‘dog’ room. This was not to be mean but was also for the owners because they are very nice and like I said it is our go to place when we are in Whitby.

Due to fluctuations in outside temperature, the hotel AC had not yet been activated. The room was uncomfortably hot (26C). I believe it is prudent for the hotel to notify customers in advance of this prior to locking in the reservation. Had I known, I would have made alternative reservations. I got a fan and an apology from the hotel either of which was satisfactory. Disappointed.

Room was clean and well-prepared. Unfortuntaley the ventilation blows a stream of air across the head of the bed. Finally, while the room itself was perfectly clean, the air vent was disgusting ... clean throughly or replace.Suggestion : most hotels now add a grab-bar inside the shower ... it would be an added safety feature

Clean room. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Main heat in room didn’t work but they had a space heater that kept the room comfortable.

Parking was conveniently located near the entrance to the hotel, and check-in was quick. My room felt clean and comfortable.
