This super 8 has had a facelift. As far as super 8 stays this one is decently clean due to updated features but still could use some work. The pool is non working and drained. Breakfast was just waffles and cereal. Overall stay was 6/10. Parking lot is well lit and area surrounding is great. Gas station in walking distance.

Front desk staff member was so welcoming, accommodating and gracious!

Its a basic hotel. Nothing frilly but it was clean.

Had to stay overnight at the Super 8 in Ankeny, Iowa due to weather and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and helpful, the price was reasonable and the room was clean and quiet, as was the hotel itself. The continental breakfast didn’t offer a lot of choices but enough to take the edge off and the coffee tasted good. Overall, it’s not a 5-star resort but I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable and clean place to stay in Ankeny, Iowa.

Clean room reasonable rate

Front desk was very kind. Room was clean and comfortable. No breakfast except for coffee and the parking lot was a skating rink.

Sack breakfast was not acceptable

Convenient location and good walking score

They are dog friendly, but do not have an outside trash container to deal with dog droppings.

Nice hotel but $20 per dog, per dog is a little to much

I had an issue with my fridge not work when I arrived and they had a new one in my room within 10 minutes. Amazing customer service from all of the staff.
