Pleasant hotel in a lovely area. Helpful reception, comfortable room.

Attractive premises. Room comfortable and quiet but showing signs of ageing; the key-card was faulty and I disliked having to stand on a rubber mat in a bath in order to take a shower. The arrangements for breakfast were baffling. It turned out to be DIY and without clear instructions. I had hoped for bacon and egg, tea and toast but the food was sitting pre-cooked in metal containers kept warmish by spirit lamps so I couldn't have a fried egg. Tea was a tea-bag in a thick beaker, with hot water from a push-button dispenser. I failed altogether with toast.

Room was very clean and comfortable, thanks for putting in the fan. receptionist was very welcoming and efficient and a lot of fun, so the stay started well. Did not use the facilities so cant comment. Overall very happy and would recommend.

Good experience. Bar/dining area recently refurbished-lovely! Bedroom needed rfurb- happening soon apparently! Overall a good experience!

We paid for an upgrade but it was a fairly standard room with a view of the car park. Having said that, the staff were very pleasant, the room was clean, bed comfortable and an excellent power shower. Buffet style breakfast was delicious with additional items freshly prepared if requested. I would happily stay again.

Needs refurbishing

Can not recommend this place enough, especially if using it for a Manchester airport stay, it is much more convenient and comfortable than the airport hotels. Includes free parking and is a 5-10 min drive to the airport.

Fantastic atmosphere, lovely food and the staff was friendly all the time. The bed in the deluxe double was extremely comfortable. I'm a fussy sleeper and this was very important. Great stay.

La habitación olía a cañerías y estaba muy mal iluminada. Por el precio pagado, el baño dejaba mucho que desear. Al WC le faltaba la tapa, había mucho moho en el techo del baño y la grifería estaba vieja y faltaban piezas. Había una lámpara de techo justo encima de la ducha que no se ajustaba bien al techo - un peligro! El desayuno OK, la parte continental era muy escasa aunque bajé a las 9:15 lo que podría considerarse algo tarde allí. El garden breakfast tenía la peor salchicha vegetal que he probado nunca. No volvería.

Excellent service and wellcom from Sara, clean and very comfortable room and bed, also at breakfast the ability to order individual items and not to follow the menu.
