A greatly quiet and spacious place to staff. My grandchildren never want to leave the room.

I always enjoy how quiet this hotel is. Even when pet owners are here I have not heard the pets in the hotel at all. I have read most of the reviews for this hotel. It is disappointing to hear that people were having bad experiences in this hotel. My daughter and I have been staying at this particular hotel for a few years now. And the only issue we have had was our keycard not working properly. The staff fix the issue and we were back enjoying our stay.

DO NOT BOOK HERE This property refuses to cooperate on my refund request. I was told I was unable to stay due to being overbooked. They told me to contact Expedia who could resolve the refund. They never answered expedias requests for any information on the booking. Worst hotel experience I’ve ever encountered.

I booked the hotel for a week and 1/2. Everything was fine in the room until I spotted a bed bug crawling on my bed. I immediately came to the front desk to ask for a different room, but all they had was the one next to my original room. I got charged for both even thought I was told I would be refunded for canceling my stay with them.

It was convenient to our destination.

avoid the pot holes leading to the property, they are tire munchers

The place is quiet, and clean. My room was too small for all the furniture. the chair was left in the walk way. i rearranged the furniture so i could avoid injury.

The property list said that it was clean and then there was a baby crib available when we checked in there was no baby crib available. We went up to the room. The couches were stained. There was blood on the one couch. I have pictures of all of this, there was roaches in the under the sink they were crawling everywhere the carpets were not clean. Also, the stoves in the kitchenette were absolutely disgusting. It looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in months. The bedsheets were not clean. Nothing was clean this place should be shut the f down. Do not stay here.

The hotel is very clean and the breakfast is good and everybody at the hotel was very friendly. I wanna thank Sam for the extra kindness.

Hawthorne is well located. It's getting to the shabby state. Carpets do not look clean and corners are not. Cleanliness makes up for a lot of things. Hawthorne needs a good cleaning and then on-going effort. Furnture and bed are OK

Didnt stay because we had a family emergency back home. We were told while we were out after checking in. That we need to return home asap. Then you guys tell me i dont get a refund even tho i never stayed in your hotel. Will not use hotel .com ever again.

Ripped bed sheet. Not a great look. All the chairs look like this. Not comfortable and kinda gross. Also terrible customer service.

They had some type of reception when I arrived with pasta. While I didn't eat it - it's a nice touch. The room was great. It was quiet. I'll beback next week.

When I arrived I was informed they needed a 200 dollar deposit to which was not listed in the booking details. As such I did not stay here. I was still charged for the booking.

This property needs some heavily improved updates. I was checked into room #216. When you first walk in the room you get an uneasiness because at first glance the carpet is dirty, the couch had various spots and stains on the couch, and the lighting isn't the greatest. The amenities in that location is second to none. It's plenty of things to do for enjoyment. As a matter of fact there's a movie theater in the parking lot right next door. So when we came back in and relaxed, i was getting bit left and right. Usually bed bugs crawl back in their hiding spaces, but these bugs just crawled in the open comfortably. Then you seen even smaller ones which you can assume that eggs have hatched. So i confronted the gentleman at the front desk and i showed him pictures and he was apologetic, and gave me another room (#316). So we ran to a store and grabbed some bed bug spray, went up to room #316, sprayed the perimeter, and went downstairs and sprayed our personal belongings before we packed and went upstairs to #316. By the time we went upstairs and checked the bed we seen small ones crawling on the mattress. We went back downstairs and showed him the video and he was apologetics once again and tried to hand me another room key and i declined and told him, there's no way you couldn't have received previous complaints about bed bugs being in here. This hotel is infested with them! I asked for a refund and ofcourse that's a process so that's literally pending right now.

Place was very clean, nice and quiet. Will definitely be back!

A property slowly deteriorating.
