Wonderful place to stay

I got a big room for my family with a kitchenette which is really nice for a very affordable price. Thank you La Quinta Portland NW for keeping us comfortable.

The staff was so friendly and great attitude. Same with my morning shuttle driver to pdx

For my third time staying at Laquita was just alright. My other two times were fantastic. My only gripe is the gentlemen running the desk around 8ish didnt seem pleased to be at work. There was no greeting or smiles. And when I needed extra towels it was an awkward exchange. I only day this to say the women who run the definition check in during the day are so sweet and welcoming. There is also now a homeless encampment on the sidewalk near the hotel.

This was a nice hotel. Wish I had taken my swimsuit - the pool looked good & lots of guests were using it. The room was good with a good bed & TV. Safe parking. Out on the road near the hotel were a couple of homeless camps, but they did not interfere with the smooth operation of the hotel.

Not as good as other LaQuinta hotels we have been to. We were told housekeeping is only every third day. This was not mentioned in the Expedia info. The hotel is old. We were in a basement room...no view. Very old. We were not told this on the Expedia site. The morning breakfast not as good as at other LaQuinta hotels.

Everything was good. Wish I had the room pre-booked before I stepped in. It was a furnace when I stepped in and it took forever for the room to cool on a hot summer night.

Aside from the fact that it is older and in an industrial side of town with nothing nearby, except a literal homeless camp, the customer service was the absolute worst. I am not at all demanding or picky, I knew what I was getting when I booked a La Quinta Inn for a last-minute and short stay. But, I was not expecting, nor did I appreciate the absolute blatant rudeness of the front desk staff. The dark haired short skinny male, wearing glasses, and earrings, at checkout 0245-0300 morning of Monday 28 July is the sole reason for the two star review. He is not at all a credit to your establishment nor does he reflect a desire to even work there. I saw cameras in the lobby, so I’m assuming our interaction was recorded if anyone would like to see him not even bother looking up as I stood at the counter directly in front of him for check out. You will see he only speaks when I say hi and even then he has an immediate attitude and sarcasm as if I disturbed his phone or computer time. Not a good way to start a day not a good reflection of a brand not at all ideal for front desk service he’s likely better suited for janitorial or food prep in the back away from the public. I would not stay there again nor would I recommend it to anyone else at least the other things can be overlooked, but there’s no excuse for poor front desk staff in the hospitality industry.

Our room was not clean at all & outdated. We booked 4 nights there. I was disappointed in the room especially for the price. I try not to be too picky & don’t usually leave reviews, but they need to update or lower price some. It was not cleaned well. But I will say the staff was very kind and accommodating & they gave us a different room & made sure they cleaned it better! It was much better & the rest of our stay was good:). The breakfast was nice & the pool was fine.

The location certainly suited our needs for the trip. While the beds were freshly made, the overall cleanliness could have been better, as the room's floor required vacuuming and the stairwell and hallways were in a rather poor state.

Hotel seems old and homeless was in the area.

All around good stay no complaints

The hotel was clean and comfortable, on the whole. The jetted tub in our suite was a welcomed addition. The curtains and bedding looked tired and the king bed wasn’t particularly comfortable. The room was quiet and once the front desk clerk got our TV working we were able to watch a few programs. The breakfast was adequate but some of those dining were obnoxiously loud. The only cleanliness issue we noticed was a few spatters of what appeared to be blood in the hall as we entered the building side door. When we left the following day it was still there. Beyond that, no complaints. The front desk receptionist was attentive and got us our room key and parking ID in record time.
