Amazing staff! We were able to upgrade our room last minute and get a roll away bed for an extra kiddo. The kids had fun, breakfast was good and the pool and hot tub were amazing

Pros: good value, excellent customer service, free parking, clean and spacious room. Cons: the hot tub was broken! Also, we really dislike the strong air freshener scent that is used in the lobby.

Paid extra for a king room but when we arrived they told us they only had queens and couldn’t refund the difference. Pool was seemingly under maintenance but there were no signs so it was dirty and not closed off, seems like a safety issue. Motel experience.

This worked well for a quick weekend trip to tour WWU, close to town & the college

Short trip to visit family. Well located. Room was comfortable

Check in was hassle free and staff were pleasant. Loved the ambiance of the area at check in; there's an indoor fireplace with seating. Family friendly, I came with my partner and teenage son. 24-hour fitness area was a bonus and the pool area was all ages until 8pm (21 from 8-9, the last hour). It was nice to have an attached restaurant/bar for a nightcap and dinner without needing to drive. A short walk down the hall is a full service bar and restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. The seating outside has multiple fireplaces with seating. The indoor seating area has 4 large screen televisions. We were able to catch the Gonzaga vs. Houston March Madness game. I was able to enjoy a vegan meal while my carnivore partner was able to enjoy a burger. The location is conveniently located where retail and grocery shopping is within walking distance. Hotel is close to I-5 and a 5 minute drive from Whatcom Falls Park, which I've been told is a wilderness oasis in the middle of suburbia. We plan to check it out before heading home.

Our stay was really good. The only downside is the pool being in the center with rooms all around it is loud. It would have been amazing when our kids were little though. I do appreciate the strict pool hours - that helped. When a group got in the pool 5 minutes after hours, someone took care of it in less than 2 minutes.

Close to the freeway. Area around it seemed fine overall.
