Stayed for a show at the Strand, great location, huge room. Only downside was our a/c unit and fan seemed to struggle, it sounded like a dying walrus struggling with its last breath all night.

The only downsides were the aged interior and very smelly lingering damp/moldy smell in the room.

I would highly recommend not booking unless you are paying in advance. I held the reservation with one card, then chose to pay with a different card during check in. Both cards were charged, so I was down $260 on my first day of vacation. That was 3 days ago and they still haven't refunded me. The room smelled like urine and the sheets were stained.

There was musty, gross smell from the bathroom that permeated through the room. I wish I had read the reviews more closely before I booked. The property is dated and there was no fan in the bathroom, which maybe the cause for the musty mildewy smell. I would not recommend.

Good hotel 4 star experience, convenient to the RI Convention Center

I loved the location! It’s right in downtown Providence with a gorgeous park across the street. The Windows had a great view! The staff was very nice. There was snacks and a great bar in the lobby. Bed was comfy and loved the AC.

Probably a below average Courtyard Property made excellent by superb staff.

Hallway was set to 60deg F. Hallway carpet could use a wash Staff disregard Do Not Distrub Sign on door

My only complaint is that we had to pay for parking.

The personnel at check in was far from friendly. I was asked how often I wanted housekeeping I told them every other day, they never came even after asking the front desk. Personnel at the coffee corner/bar were very friently

Location is really good and staff is friendly, rooms are decent size, only thing was missing for me buffet breakfast, would be nice to have one.

Lots of motorcycle noise in the streets, but the hotel is well-situated near restaurants and shopping.

Staff was great. Check in was easy. Good breakfast options. Clean rooms. Proximity to college hill was ideal. Easy location to hail uber/lyft. No complaints.

Very nice hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. I was disappointed at the $30. per night parking charge, not informed at check-in free parking (last year) changed.
