Great for one night

Room was clean and tidy and breakfast was delicious.

Really friendly and helpful staff , great breakfast to start the day , would highly recommend, it is a little away from York but there's a park and ride nearby, I commend the staff at the hotel they were excellent

Easy to access from ring road. Free parking with plenty of space. Close to large retail parks, cinema plus park and ride into city centre. Friendly helpful staff. Room ok but smelt of damp in bathroom probably due to no fan. Floor tile grout very grubby. Heater and some lighting didn't work. Breakfast ok but lots of things needed topping up. Croissants were good when they were restocked. Toby carvery next door but better choice at retail park. Overall it was ok but felt very overpriced.

The rooms were okay, nothing special but clean and adequate, it’s a shame they don’t provide any drawers instead of a couple of open shelves, it would be nice to put your underwear and other personal items away so they are not on show for anyone who walks in the room, a small fridge would also be handy and a small safe to put car keys and valuables in. The outside areas are pretty unkept, and look untidy but use the “we are leaving the grounds in a tatty mess to protect the bees”

Great staff and stay

Ideal for my overnight stay and close to Forest Park Golf Club. Hotel clean, staff friendly and breakfast was good too.

Good Hotel

Better than expected. Staff very helpful. Breakfast ok but rstaurant was vry crowded at times. Location next to pub/restaurznt very useful. Nice big car park.

Only let down was the breakfast. The hot breakfast was cold. Especially the hash browns. And thought the plates were toast plates or kids size!

Staff were so kind and friendly. They are operating the facility so professinally.

Great hotel, staff chatty and helpful. Free breakfast was great especially as they had gluten free cereals, sausages and bread.

Great hotel in an ideal spot for getting to York. The man on reception was lovely...really nice and helpful and very welcoming 😄 The breakfast was great too ...lots of choice all freshly prepared
