Very good location

Staff, rooms and experience was all excellent. We went for our anniversary and they sent up some cake and champagne! We will be back next year :)

The building is gorgeous, and carries history of 100 years - the lobby and entrance is beautiful and the room is just perfect !

The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Loved the free slippers and the coffee! The restaurant downstairs has the best cinnamon toast crepe cake I have ever tried. So delicious!!!

It’s an old hotel with small rooms. High ceilings but two beds makes for tight space and the shower diverter was sticky. I arrived late at night and they gave me a room beside the elevator when there were options, I know because once I went to the room, at 1:30 am I went back down and 15 mins later I was able to get a quieter room. Not so premium of an experience for a $1600 three night stay.

We booked a room at Fairmont Palliser Calgary expecting a level of service that matched what we paid for. While the initial room was nice, it was facing a street with heavy construction noise that made it impossible to relax. I contacted guest services, and the lady assured me she would find us a quiet room equivalent to what we originally booked. Unfortunately, they moved us from room 1116 to room 1001, which turned out to be even worse — a smaller queen bed, more noise, and a clear downgrade from our first room. It's almost midnight, and the street noise is absolutely unbearable. We are truly disappointed by how poorly our complaint was handled, and this experience was far below the Fairmont standards we expected.

Lives up to the quality you expect at Fairmont!

Parking in the outdoor parkade and walking aimlessly with very little signage trying to find the room was stressful. The lot is not on hotel property, it’s a public open to the elements lot, and it cost $40 for a one night stay.

Spa was excellent, enjoyed the lounge and staff was lovely.

Fairmont has a reputation and it shows. This property is immaculate and located in the heart of downtown. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and professional conduct from the staff. Everyone you came in contact with was friendly and helpful. Our room was tasteful. Big selling point is the comfort of the bed and pillows. Slept well every night. This property is a 10! Kinda of a shame we stayed only 4 days, will return

We had an amazing stay! The staff are absolutely fantastic! The door man was sooo sweet and hung onto my car when my parking was up and even tried to refuse my tip! Unbelievable hotel over all!

Misleading: Self parking was not with the hotel but a connecting parking lot shared by the Calgary Tower building. If you have some luggages with you, instead of as directed by the front desk to park at level 3, you will be better off go park at level 4 then find the green door and go in to take the elevator down to level 3 before you reach the connecting bridge back to the hotel. Parking at level 3 is mostly assigned to valet parking, which is $60 a day, the few self parking spots is by a tight space with a few steps or you will have to wiggle your way around the parking gate. Also, more importantly, when you exit the parking lot in the morning (4 out of 5 times) the gate do not open and you’ll need to call a number and wait for 15mins or more to talk to someone to open the gate! It’s frustrating, waste of time and inconvenient. When you complain to the hotel manager, they gave you one (out of the five) free self-park ticket, which it also did not work the next morning and have to call and wait for the gate to open! And expect train noise, it’s right beside the hotel and you’ll for sure hear it. Bring earplugs!
