Great stay even though it was a short stay

The view from our room is truly stunning. The staff are wonderful.

One word to describe our stay at the Shore Cliff. Perfect!!!!

Had a wonderful stay at Shore Cliff Hotel! The views of the ocean were stunning, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. A peaceful, relaxing spot — perfect for a coastal getaway.

Wonderful stay!

Not a good experience, did not receive the room booked , i paid for oceanfront room was allotted partial ocean view on higher floor away from elevators and parking , Above that i was also charge more than i was billed at hotels.com instead admitting mistake try gave us no specific reasoning spend first day in frustration calling hotel.com we did receive some adjustment but our trip was ruined , under staffed facility , people fall for its location great location but not so great service , front not disclosing that room i booked was sold out , i felt cheated . Had i received the room i booked it could have bern great experience, they did offer room change for next day but ut was too much to sit out snd we had other plans ,🙏

Seagulls and wildlife have literally dumped pounds of excrement all over the rooftops of the main building and adjoining building. In addition to Tilford all of the vehicles in the parking lot. This is a central meeting point and gear marked by the seagulls with their yearlings and they run the entire exterior and perimeter of the building And all of the inhabitants bring your umbrellas or wear a thick hat that you don’t mind discarding after your visit… front desk upon checkout needs a lot to be desired in terms of courtesy and professionalism advice is go next-door on I side bypass all the excrement and odor and deal with somebody that smiles..

Took my family to Pismo. We had a great time at the hotel. Amazing view from our room. After a long drive, check-in staff was so nice. The only issue I have with the location was bird poop are everywhere. My car was a mess after two days staying there. I hope Shore Cliff can find ways to resolve bird poop issues. I am sure future guests will appreciate clean hotel.

Good place for the price.

The rooms and facilities were in great shape. The views of the harbor are unobstructed in all directions, and very beautiful. Along certain walks, including the hotel front, there was a smell of seagull droppings. I was surprised by the daily parking charge of $30.

This is basically a motel with a really nice view. The coast side of the property is pretty but literally the entire place is covered in seagull poo. My car was a mess when we left. My room was not cleaned on the first day & when I called to ask why they rudely told me they had a note that I had requested when I checked in that the room not get cleaned. I absolutely did not request this. I was informed (rudely) that the cleaning staff had left for the day. I then requested that my room was to be cleaned each day & they said they'd make a note. Why would you have to request that your room get cleaned each day?? The snack bar was closed each time we went to the pool. The hot tub was also closed for service one of the days. I never expect much with free breakfast but was traveling with a teen that will eat anything & even for him the free breakfast was inedible. We tried to grab food twice in the week...Water logged eggs substitute and stale cereal. We received texts anyway about closing the breakfast room on one day for repairs & that the coffee machines in the breakfast area were not working on another day. We had a balcony with a pretty view but could not walk off the balcony to the path. We were right at the south end of the property & had to walk all the way around & through the middle of the property to get to the paths even though they were right outside the room. Also the lock to the balcony was a push button & we were on the 1st floor. Not exactly secure.

The hotel itself very good, great pool area , one of the best hotel breakfast ive had, friendly staff, all good,,,,,, there was no beach access, i guess i should have known ( shore CLIFFS), and the birds decorating the cars was unreal,,,,, thankfully there was a carwash not to far away

Excellent service

The room was not ready until almost an hour after the said check in time, which was frustrating after a long drive in the car. The front desk was apologetic and gave us a bottle of wine for the trouble. The suite was a great size and the cliff side location was great, but being in the first floor we had noisy upstairs neighbors and the sidewalk around the property went right in front of our balcony. Breakfast was good and room amenities were nice. We would stay again but would ask for a room on a higher floor, and would call ahead for check in time.

The staff was great and accommodating.
