We payed extra for a room with a patio door leading to the pool with the view of the atrium, however after paying we were told outside our patio was under construction and we could not use that exit or the slide. Instead we would have to leave the building and enter in the other door to get to the rest of the hotel. As it was extremely cold outside we then could not use the pool and go outside as we could get sick. I was very excited to stay at the hotel and feel we should have been notified of construction before making the reservation. Especially because paying extra for something that is inaccessible is clearly false advertising. We booked through Expedia and feel they are as much responsible as the hotel who informed us only after registration was complete. The room was also non refundable

This hotel is absolutely fantastic, but we stayed at the wrong time. We were not aware in advance, but they were doing construction/repairs on the waterfall and slide. There was a very loud high pitch noise, nonsto0 for the better oartnof two days. It was impossible to enjoy the pool and atrium area and or our balcony. Entire stay was great, unfortunately didn't get to enjoy the beautiful pool—wish we had more time to enjoy more of the amenities. Restaurant within the hotel was enjoyable—food was very good.

The security to the building is nonexistent. Anyone can walk in or walk out of any of the mani entrances even from there anyone can walk into the pool/room areas, arcade and gym. Adding simple keycard scanners at entrances would help keep unwanted people out. This was an obvious issue since an unwanted person had been looking for by the police and he pulled the fire alarm at 8:30pm. There were long rusty screws sticking out of the patio door which caught my clothes and ripped them, also very unsafe. Checking in was a nightmare with a 45 minute line up just to get to the kiosk then they asked up to wait while our room was getting cleaned and ready-it was 5pm this should’ve been done but all of the hallways were full of garbage and laundry carts etc. Ice machine was nasty, refused to use it and the chlorine was so over powering even in our rooms while sleeping. I honestly don’t believe I’ll be returning to this establishment. It’s not the staffs fault, it’s simply whoever owns/runs this place.

Nice staff clean room only thing that sucked is the toilet wouldn’t flush and had to keep getting a plunger delivered.

We had a wonderful weekend here. The atrium with the pool gave us a tropical escape in winter. The restaurant and staff were also great.

Was never informed at the time of booking that some of the pool features were under construction. This was one of the main reasons for taking our grandsons there.
