Everything was amazing and the food delicious!

The hotel's restaurant was convenient, but the food was somewhat underwhelming. The menu had a reasonable selection, but several dishes lacked flavor and did not match the quality I expected. While the meals were adequate, dining elsewhere might be a better option for guests looking for a more memorable culinary experience. Another bummer was we got told we can only attend these restaurants with making reservations at the Italian, Mexican and Japanese restaurants. However we can only make it after our third day there, where on Expedia it didn’t mention anything like that. One of criticism is that the dinner dress code that was not clearly communicated to me at all. As my family and I went to eat dinner, I informed that tank tops were not permitted at dinner, and clearer guidance on this policy would help prevent confusion for guests. They were kind enough to lent me a yellow button shirt which made me feel uncomfortable as people kept looking at me as they walked by. I was a bit disappointed with this situation, once again I didn’t get advised about that part of the policy when I first got here. second, I’m a person that is always wearing polo shirts at work if not button up. For once in a while I was going to be free from wearing that kind of shirt. Also I find kinda unfair seeing ladies being able to wear a tank top while a guy has to wear a shirt on a blazing hot.

Desde la llegada el personal de llegadas, botones y recepción muy serviciales, atentos y educados. Todas las habitaciones continúan impecables, son amplias, limpias, y bien cuidadas. En general es un gran hotel que siendo muy bueno, constantemente está mejorando.

We had an amazing stay at this resort from start to finish! The property is absolutely beautiful, with well-maintained grounds and stunning views that make it feel like a true getaway. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a day of activities. The food was delicious with plenty of options and we loved the variety of activities available throughout the day. Whether you want to relax by the pool, enjoy the beach, or participate in entertainment, there’s something for everyone. Overall, this resort exceeded our expectations and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, fun, and memorable vacation!

Muy cómodo y limpio, buenas instalaciones

When we booked hotel it said that it was family friendly and it most definite was not. It had multiple pools that were adult only, there was only one very very small pool for children most arras where not accesible or kid friendly. A la carte restaurants did not allowed children. We stayed 4d/3n and unable to dine at any of the a la carte restaurants. Also the childrens club was only for kids 5 and up dont remember max age but we couldnt bring our 3 year old to be watch and enjoy the amenities while we enyoed adult only areas. Compared to other Barcelo hotels that we have visited with our kid this one was disappointing.. i would say it is a great hotel for couples or childless groups.

Una muy agradable estancia todo muy limpio la comida buena el restaurant japonés delicioso y muy atentos en el restaurant de bufet un poco lentos pero pues es bufet igual puedes ir por tus bebidas las albercas están muy grandes y el agua climatizada todo muy bien excelente elección

Un hotel hermoso, solo que no cuenta con valle parking. La mayoría de los empleados muy amables y atentos.

This resort is so well run, and it is reflected in every department. The staff at each step from the front door, to the gym, to the pool areas, the dining facilities, and housekeeping are all attentive, friendly, and service oriented. Food was consistently well prepared and served. The reservation dining areas offer some interesting and flavorful food options. Pool and private beach are fantastic. We enjoyed a restful and pleasant week at the Barcelo Karmina in Manzanillo. Thank you to all of the wonderful locals who work here.

.muy bien en general, sin embrago nos pusieron mal un brazalete y se perdió en alberca el primer día, nos lo cobraron en 50 dólares, no obstante que reportamos el hecho de inmediato y la falla del broche no fue nuestra responsabilidad

Amazing experience! Will definitely come back with family

The food was ok although the drinks were not good (at all). The service was also good (especially housekeeping and the waiting staff). Rooms were clean and so was the surrounding hotel. Beware though, we used a taxi from the hotel which we got a price quote for and by the end of the trip to the airport they had high balled our bill by 800 pesos of what we were told by the hotel.
