It was fantastic, very lovely staff, clean room

The trainee on reception was great, very professional, polite and knew the answers to our questions. A pleasant check in. The room fantastic, clean, comfy bed, had a really good nights sleep, even next to a snorer! Bar staff all very friendly, just a really lovely place to be. Thanks, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we would come stay again.

The hotel was lovely, staff were very friendly and helpful, and the pool etc was excellent. However the bed was extremely hard which was very uncomfortable. It wouldn't put me off staying but i would make sure I took a topper myself.

Nice rooms and spa. Meals are pricey and a 12.5% surcharge to be added to food orders.

Tired brown furniture, upgraded to an extremely tired looking room. 30 year old carpet throughout. Tried to order food, first night took so long I left. Second night took so long the bar staff I should get a refund. Third night took so long they fined me off with a free drink. Never ever would I dream of stopping here if I knew. Disgraceful!!!

Room was comfortable and clean, but it was cold. To turn the air con on was too loud to sleep. That left is with a tiny heater that didn’t heat the room.

Good amenities- pool, steam room and sauna. Great buffet breakfast with a wide range of choices. Fast check in and check out.

Room was clean unfortunately the drain in the shower backed up on a daily bases, therefore could not be used, hotel maintenance are aware reported on the first day. Pillows are too soft and quilt too heavy. Food expensive and a poor selection of drinks at the bar when the drinks where available.

This hotel is hopeless. The deluxe room was so cold at night I had to get out of bed at 3am and put socks on . This is completely unacceptable. After the first night, the room was not made up until late pm the following day despite requests from us. The booking was certainly NOT value for money or a good experience. The whole place, despite various refurbishments, has a” tired” feel about it and the standards reflect this. Perhaps that is what the “ Delta “ re classification represents.

You can tell the property needs some TLC. The central heating was not working at all, and an electrical oil radiator had to be used to warm the room. Also, the bathroom sink was clogged and did not work at all.

Room was fairly clean however unfortunately some parts of the room felt out-dated. The wardrobe door was faulty, the cupboards below the television were not fitted correctly, the sink was actually fitted the completely wrong way round, there was a large mark in the bath upon arrival. The good parts were the sauna and steam and swimming section. And a very comfortable bed. Bit of a shame about the hotel as has really good potential.

The bed was so uncomfortable, I have never slept (loose term) or attempted to steep in such a lumpy (like a rocky beach) bed in all my life. Woke up at 5am in such back pain it’s no joke.

Staff were excellent and couldn't done enough. Yes, rooms are tired looking, but you can overlook that if staff are accommodating.
