The location of the hotel was excellent — within walking distance to the historic area, and there were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Despite being in a lively neighborhood, the room was quiet, which was nice. However, the furniture and decor were very old. Part of the wallpaper was burned, and the carpet was quite worn out. I also didn’t feel comfortable using the carpet and blankets as they didn’t feel clean. The shower was very low, so I had to bend to stand under it, which made it a bit uncomfortable. Breakfast offered very limited options and was not very varied.

Hotel location is awesome, close to St Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco), Rialto Bridge, Water Taxi, many dining options. Hotel has an elevator. Free breakfast every morning was provided at sister hotel across the street. Room was warm, A/C did not seem to work, couldn't even find a vent in the room. We asked for a fan from the front desk clerk across the street at the sister hotel, and were told none were available. We opened the window in the evening when we returned to our hotel room after dinner to allow cool air to get into room, which provided some relief. However, once darkness set in the mosquitos would come thru the window so we would close them for the night. Be aware if you book this hotel during the first Sunday in September you will have zero transportation available to you as Venice holds its annual Regata Storica, and shuts down the entire waterways, gondolas, water taxis in the city. The hotel, train stations, do not make you aware of this fact when you check in/arrive, so you could possibly get stranded in Venice for the day, or not be able to tour many landmarks that require transportation.

Great location, breakfast starts at 8 am so I think is late for travelers with short time and the hotel is old but Overall nice stay

Struttura senza infame e senza lode. L'ha detta la reception molto gentile, l'hotel è abbastanza attempato ed avrebbe certamente bisogno di una ristrutturazione, ma il prezzo pagato corrisponde a quanto avuto. Colazione invece, secondo me, ampiamente insufficiente

O hotel é bem velho, mas é aceitável por ser Veneza. A localização é ótima.

Está muy céntrico a 2 minutos de la plaza san Marcos y cerca del puente Rialto que puedes coger el vaporeto para ir al tren

Very close to restaurants and square

The staff were very kind, but it smelled like a sewer and the showerhead needs a good cleaning as it was covered in hard water and mildew.

The location was fantastic. The room was nice. The problem was sewer off gases. Not sure if they came from our bathroom or the outside. The smell was quite gross. There were actually no staff at this hotel. We had to check in across the way at the neighbouring hotel. The man there was very nice but it took over an hour to get checked in as there was a line up and no other help. The breakfast was also nice but again at the other hotel. The hotel Diana seems to be just an extension of the other one(Pananda)

Già trovare un hotel a due passi da S.Marco in pieno Festival del Cinema è sempre stata un'impresa, ma trovarne uno di categoria superiore ad un prezzo molto contenuto è stata veramente una bella sorpresa.Check-in e colazione nell'adiacente hotel Antica Panada,camera e bagno confortevoli,ed una posizione strepitosa!!!!
