Very spacious and comfortable family room with a beautiful rainforest shower head in a massive shower. We slept very well and felt very at home. We also really enjoyed the spa facilities and swimming pool. It felt like we were on holiday although it was only a 1 night work trip. I would definitely stay again.

Great 5 star , friendly staff and plenty of parking.

I rented a suite for three people and there were no sheets for the sofa bed or towels. Very limited service for a 4-star hotel. A second room also lacked towels. The hotel is showing its age.

All the staff I dealt with were very helpful. The restaurant staff were especially good, lead by an excellent manager, Alison, great team.

i like staying at this hotel and the rooms are always clean. The bar restaurant area was a real mess! Untidy, old food plates and glasses/cups everywhere. Floor dirty and unkempt. My salad was less than ok. not a described, missing ingredients. The staff were over run and under real pressure Will stay again, definitely won't eat.

Enjoyable two night stay. Very warm, which made the pool a godsend. Breakfast was a bit cramped and bland, if I was being picky. Lovely room, great bed and good size walk-in shower. Overall, a very definite thumbs up.

We did enjoy it very much, the staff were excellent and attentive. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice and great quality. However the pool was a little disappointing, quite small and when looking closely there were black bits floating in the water and a small amount of litter. Maybe this is like all pools when examined closely, I don't know. Also we stayed during a heatwave and there was no Aircon in the room. For a four star hotel it was a surprise and disappointment.

Beware web site descriptions do not match realities. A 'Deluxe' room is described as having a bath tub and countryside views. We had no bath and out look across the car park. Room had no heating (helpful staff member brought in a plug-in heater), broken windows, missing light bulb and no clothes hangars. Minor things but not what you want when arriving late a night. In the morning , woken by folk in room above as the floors creek and there is a lack of sound insulation. At breakfast, bread, pastries and butter ran out. Good bits: EV chargers work well. Hotel staff all v friendly . Overall, disappointed to not receive the experience we had been offered and paid for.

Room was clean and comfortable; staff was very helpful. Grounds were beautiful and peaceful. Was a bit too far away from any other needs, and very costly to get around if you don't have a car.

The staff were very welcoming and polite. There is ample parking. We stayed in a suite which was spacious, clean and had good amenities. There is a good sized swimming pool which has allocated children hours. There was a good selection at breakfast and you can also order off a menu too. The restaurant also provided a good selection for dinner. The hotel is in a good location and a short uber ride from Oxford city centre.

Good hotel, definitely need a car. Rooms are nice, ours was a little warm, unsure if air-conditioning was available. We were very fortunate and had a free upgrade - big room, clean, good bathroom also clean. Bar and restaurant are both nice - food at both is very good - although drinks prices are a tad high. Restaurant is a bit under staffed at breakfast, if busy getting a clear table can be a challenge. But all staff are really friendly and helpful. We also used the spa - the lounge is lovely and the pool and sauna are also both good.

2nd séjour dans cet hôtel : impossible de couper le chauffage au niveau de l'hôtel. Le personnel a tout tenté en vain. Soit nous acceptons de dormir à 30 °C soit on nous propose une 2nd chambre avec le même problème mais la climatisation allumée... une absurdité écologique. Il faut revoir le système de chauffage de l'hôtel. L'hôtel commence à laisser apercevoir des infrastructures vieillissantes (exemple : odeur de moisissure dans la partie piscine spa) L'alarme incendie doit être revu pour éviter une 2e évacuation de l'ensemble de l'hôtel à 4h du matin et de déplacer les pompiers inutilement. Par ailleurs attention : les enfants ne sont acceptés que sur 2 créneaux de 2 heures (inutile de penser faire un séjour avec un enfant...) Points positifs : le personnel ! Merci à Libby notamment qui a tout fait pour nous. Le petit déjeuner est très bien. L'hôtel mérite des investissements pour garder ce cadre si magnifique
