Great stay. Brandon at the front desk was very helpful.

The housekeeping service was not impressive.

Check in is at 3, when we arrived at 3 the door was propped open and floor was wet (indicating it had just been cleaned). However when we walked in the room, under the window sill there’s a bench seat & it had someone’s clipped toenails on it & there was trash on the floor. Beds appeared to be decently clean, but there was a strong smell of mildew. The bathroom plug in didn’t work & front desk said they had no extension cord or other options but to wait for maintenance - I hung my towel on the towel rack and it fell off the wall. Overall a cheap place to sleep, but keep your shoes on.

This Microtel was perfect for our family of 3! The microwave and mini fridge were a good size & the window seat was a great place for our child to sit!

This was our second time we have stayed at Microtel Inn. The people were very friendly and helpful. We will be staying at Microtel Inn when every we are in Southern Pines.

Upon check-in, Lynn was outstanding. Very, very accommodating, friendly, engaging, and professional. The other staff were just as friendly and helpful very pleased with this hotel, and would highly recommend it. It is very clean and in a great location.

I was satisfied with the area and the cleanliness of the property. There was just one thing I didn’t like was I asked for a complimentary blanket because I got cold during my stay and the staff told me it wasn’t available to get , housekeeping had already stored them away . For the future they should have spare blankets for the hotel guests

We were in town for my son's high school graduation, and the hotel was close to everything, clean, and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

I was very dissatisfied with Microtel in Southern Pines, N.C I checked in around 7pm on May 27, 2025. I was awaken 12:30 am being biten by bedbugs.

I have stayed at this hotel in the past. Unfortunately, the condition has deteriorated. Worn ripped carpet, scratch and beat up doors. It needs some fixing up.

The hotel has potential but falls short in a few key areas. The doors are very heavy and tend to slam shut, which made for a noisy night. The parking area in the back could use better lighting—it felt a bit too dark for comfort. We also noticed a large stain on the bed sheets, which looked like it might have been coffee or soda. The toilet didn’t flush properly and needed multiple attempts each time, which was frustrating. Additionally, there’s no elevator, so be prepared to carry luggage up the stairs. Lastly, the room had a noticeable mildew smell, likely coming from the air conditioner. With some attention to these details, this hotel could be a much better experience.
