Clean room but lack of plug sockets bedside is very inconvenient

Plenty of parking, restaurants next to service station.

No heating in room. Radiator on timer that did not work. Days inn do all they can to make sure profit is king and customer comfort is secondary.

I would like to stay days inn hotel

It was very dirty there were stains on the bedding and floor.

All great, apqrt from the fact that it was advertised as free parking. Which is whst i specifically selected in filters, but i had to pay £5 per car (£10 total). Also the address clearly states J30, which took me few miles past the hotel to the said junction, then back on north bound, then few miles to next slip road to go back again, because the hotel is between J31 and J30. After 8 hour journey, this detour was not much of a fun. Other than that, clean, and friendly staff.

Comfortable bed; spacious room; plenty of hot water in the shower. No power outlets beside the bed.

The room was clean and tidy, we was at the front of the building and the lights outside did light up the room during the night the curtains didn't block out the lights. The bathroom smelt a bit of pee and the bath had a lot of marks in it the shower was good but extractor fan didn't work, it was a bit noisy during the night I could hear the staff and other people turning up and leaving. The lady on the front desk was polite and helpful.

Woken up at 5.30am by fire alarm. A false alarm set off by someone using shower and not shutting bathroom door do steam set off to be alarm. The fire alarm system really does need updating so that this does not happen.

Problem with room initially allocated. Had not been cleaned properly. Toilet had not been cleaned and flushed. When flushed it proved to be blocked. Reception lady very helpful, welcoming and cheery. Swapped rooms without fuss. Poor night's sleep due to traffic noise from M1. Needswindows refitted with better noise proof glazing. Gutters also need attention. Rain during night overflowed gutters and also noisy as it did so.
