Clean

The staff were welcoming and made an effort to be warm and friendly. The hotel was nice and everything was presented well. The room was clean with a comfortable bed. My only complaints are: 1. The bathroom floor was dirty. I spilt something and used a tissue to wipe it up. The tissue was filthy and showed it hadn’t been cleaned for a while. There were also lots of splashed water marks on the tiles. 2. Above the toilet, there was a strip of white painted wood, going across the wall. This strip was very dirty and it was obvious it hadn’t been cleaned for a while. It had a thick dusty coating with yellow marks in the groove against the wall. I had to clean it because I did not want to look at it throughout my stay. I had to put a bit of pressure on whilst cleaning the yellow marks. 3. The shower had half a door. As a result, I flooded the bathroom the first time I used it. During the showers after, I kept turning the shower on and off while I was using it, so the water would not build up and I could drain it out. Having said all that, would I stay here again… yes! A lovely hotel with seating outside, a good location and friendly staff. I wasn’t uncomfortable in the room, but their bathroom cleaning needs some attention.

Klima, gutes Frühstück und saubere schöne Zimmer

Wir waren positiv überrascht. Sehr gutes Preis Leistungs Verhältnis. Überragendes Frühstück, auch viele vegane und vegetarische Optionen. Zimmer schön eingerichtet mit Klimaanlage. Personal sehr freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder :-)

Great room. Was really clean on arrival. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a bit expensive but really good!

Definitiv ein super schönes Hotel. Ich merke es mir definitiv für die nächste Geschäftsreise nach Köln. Sauna Wellness und auch nebenbei noch lernen. Was will man mehr. Vielen dank

Insbesondere das Bad war Recht verschlissen. Flackernder Spot, Defekte Regendusche, WC Kasten undicht.

Tolles Bett und ein wirklich unglaublich guter Service, das Frühstück war auch TOP!

Refrigerator wasn’t plugged in or turned on, key stopped working, service not the fastest considering the cost. Overall ok

Gemessen am stolzen Preis für das Frühstück war die Auswahl übersichtlich und die Säfte recht billig. Das Zimmer war sauber, allerdings ist alles etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Haken und Halter sind lose und schief…

Room was in good conditionn. However 2 single beds on wheels (like in a hospital) and no double bed. Beds had not been moved to sweep/vacuum under them which was full of dust. Could not get any mobile phone signal in the room or anywher on the 1st floor. Reception staff unhelpful to resove these issues. Check-in process very slow and unable to complete check in formalities on-line prior to arrival. Excellent Breakfast, although no eggs were available one morning!

Lots of free sweeties, biscuits and drinks available in reception.

Staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. The toilet bowl had water stains where previously had a leak. The shower cubicle was not perfectly clean due to some water stains. The limescale from the bidet tap was not fully descaled especially the base of the tap. One of the towels provided was old and shredded along the sides. Initially when we came into the room the complimentary bottle of water was missing however after we left the room and returned later the bottle of water was provided. The room service was slightly disappointing because a used glass was not replaced. The bed was very comfortable with great pillows. The aircon was working well. Location was not the closest to the city however it is walkable (20 minutes).
