the check-in process was easy and the room was clean on arrival. staff was helpful with restocking towels upon request. breakfast was okay. my family enjoyed the pool, but i didn’t go to it so i can’t speak on that. on the second day of our stay we came back to the hotel in the late afternoon to the hallway carpet being removed. the next afternoon we came back to our room around the same time and they had the glue down so they could lay the new carpet, so we had to jump into our room and open the door for the worker to finish securing the carpet in front of our room. i didn’t really mind since it wasn’t being done while i was sleeping, but if someone was trying to sleep during the day it would be disruptive. and we hadn’t been informed about this when checking in or in general. the property should’ve at least made an effort to inform guests on the effected floor about the work being done. other than that our stay was okay.

Super disappointing experience. The hotel was ripping out the carpets and failed to let us know ahead of time. The receptionist said that we would be compensated and then on checkout the receptionist said that because we booked on Expedia, there was no accountability to notify us of this ahead of time (really would have been the ethical thing to do) or give us any sort of compensation. My son has asthma, so extra not cool with pulling up a presumably 20+ year old carpet and also off gassing carpet glue. We weren’t expecting a 5 star hotel, but it all felt super upsetting and unsafe.

Great location, tasty breakfast

From check in to check out everything was top notch. Reception desk was very friendly and happy to help us with our needs. Pool and water slide were a big hit as well as the breakfast selection and friendly staff there as well. Room was very clean and was big enough for our needs.

The staff was very friendly, good location, rooms need to be updated the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very basic not much of a selection.

All staff were helpful, courteous and friendly. Convenient location with fast food restaurant options within walking distance. Room is spacious, clean and quiet. Breakfast is excellent.

Rooms were clean, beds are quite soft, and rooms are a little squishy if traveling with kids who require pack n plays

Staff were great, extremely kind and very helpful. Room was very clean and hotel was quiet. Kids loved the pool.

We were a large group of 7 and booked the multi room family unit. There was lots of space for everyone and we didn’t feel crowded. The kids and adults enjoyed the waterslide. We enjoyed the hot breakfast in the morning. It filled us up before our day out in Drumheller.

As advertised and expected

We travelled to Drumheller with our family with small children. Overall we had a good experience. There were ants in the room, and ant traps were accessible to my children before I realized they were in the room. Otherwise, everything was great.
