If I could give this hotel zero stars I would. My horrible experience at Edgewater has left me no choice but to write a negative review. From the moment my family and I arrived it was unpleasant. The check in process was unorganized with long waits and unreasonable hotel deposit fees that I still have NOT been refunded for!
As soon as you walk into this hotel you are greeted with an overpowering smell of cigarettes as people are allowed to smoke inside. This led me to have a respiratory infection which I am still recovering from. The room itself was outdated and poorly maintained, from stains on the carpet to stains on the windows. Overall this hotel should be considered a health hazard!
To top it all off, the customer service was appalling. The security at this hotel is poorly trained and RACIST. The night of July 5th, 2025 my husband and son were racially profiled and accused of trying to run the security over.
They were immediately told to leave the premises. Laughlin police was involved and after investigating the hotel footage they agreed that my husband and son were telling the truth. Even after clarification, this infuriated the hotel security and demanded that we were no longer able to stay the night for trespassing although we had a room booked at this hotel.
After speaking with Diana the hotel manager along with Christina the head manager security and explaining to them that their security were in the wrong they refused to give us a refund.
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!😡
