Worth money good stay and would stay again

Clean room but could have included a refrigerator as a standard. Hotel was a good choice for a family of 3 with 1 toddler however if you are planning to stay over the weekend, the front facing rooms of hotel can be too noisy on Friday night up to 1 or 2 am due to pub people having a blast just outside the hotel. Breakfast was fine however not a huge variety to pick from. Overall a good experience and would stay again (non front facing room haha)

Self check in so difficulty rating the staff. Bed very comfortable, room nice, shower good. Food at bar very average. Shame they don’t have any decent beer - great if you’re a lager lover !

excellent relaxing family trip

Requested for service, and was not done when we returned back after day out.

Good comfortable room , a little dated but good for a short stay.

Everyone was sweet and everything was nice. It’s a 5 star hotel for a very cheap price

First room was appalling…. Usually every village hotel experience we have had has been first class and clean. Not the case with Bury unfortunately. We told staff and got another room which was better (club room) but still had some blood? Stain on the walls and windows were marked with hand marks but I was too embarrassed to complain again. The corridors, lifts and general areas were grubby. We have stayed at Hull, Chester, Edinburgh and this was by far a total letdown.

Hotel good breakfast was disappointing No choice of eggs no black pudding every mushrooms rubbery the rest not cooked properly Ie. All cooked in oven not fried.

Room was average, lots of noise and trouble from other rooms in the hotel

The room was spotless and the staff were incredibly helpful and polite.

Courteous staff and a wonderful pool.

Paint coming off walls, radiator damaged wall. shower steamed up entire room, leaving mold stains.

One of the mugs still had old coffee in it, and the blind was broke in the room too.

Fantastic Hotel. We’ve used it a few times now. Very clean, big rooms and comfy beds. My father in-law left his jacket in his room, he only realised when we had got home. The staff located it and put it somewhere safe until we got Royal Mail sorted to do a pick up. Very happy with the service. All staff friendly and helpful

Village at Bury was fantastic. Big shout out to breakfast staff

Friendly staff - very much approachable. The spa / pool facilities were excellent.
