Location was excellent. Expedia needs to update the breakfast notation to coffee and pastry served for breakfast….served in paper cups and plates though.

This fun hotel is a virtual pop art museum, located in Old Montreal within walking distance to the waterfront and the Basillica. We were upgraded to a suite, which was sweet:) The missing 5th star is because the room had too much light coming through the windows at night for me. Otherwise, its a lovely spot.

The hotel itself was nice—very clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, the area was way too noisy. Other guests were slamming doors past midnight, and there were constant sounds of cars honking and ambulances. It was way too loud, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep.

The hotel was ok, very kitsch-y which many will probably like. But, it is dated, the bathroom in our room was in serious need of a reno. Definitely not a luxury property, but acceptable enough.

We really liked the high ceiling in our rooms, and found it really unique. However, we encountered a few issues during our stay. One was that the room card did not work several times, even though it was not near our phones. We had to go to the front desk multiple times to resolve this issue. Another issue was the our mini fridge did not work. We had bought cheese and left it in there, which was a little cold but when we came back at night, the cheese had gone bad. We don't understand why the fridge stopped working, so we had to throw away our cheese. Other than that, the staffs were really nice and helpful.

Our stay was good overall, except for an unfortunate incident on our last night—May 4th at around 11 PM. Upon our return to the hotel, we requested two bottles of water from the night manager. However, he asked if he could charge them to our room at $2.50 each. We declined and explained that we had requested water on previous nights and were provided bottles at no charge. Unfortunately, the night manager was not friendly and made several condescending remarks, which I have listed below: 1. "If you don’t believe that it’s chargeable, I can show it to you right here." 2. "Whoever gave you the water bottles for free made a mistake." 3. "I stayed at the Hilton and they only gave me one bottled water." 4. "You can complain if you want." I've stayed in cheaper hotels were water was complimentary. We stayed at LHotel for five days and four nights, LHotel is certainly not a budget hotel, and I didn’t even claim the complimentary breakfast (bread, coffee/tea, and juice). The least I expect from a night manager is a courteous explanation if bottled water cannot be provided for free. While I understand that bottled water may be chargeable, the hotel could at least provide a water station for guests. Furthermore, the night manager’s attitude was unacceptable. If he believed a mistake had been made by previous staff, he could have communicated that politely or shown some flexibility, rather than treating us disrespectful

My brother and I had the MOST AMAZING time!! The room was gorgeous and the staff was lovely. For location, you couldn’t pick a more perfect spot. Great food everywhere around it and it is a fabulous example of a boutique hotel.

Stayed here during an overnight to watch the four nations hockey tournament. Fantastic location was very walkable to everything. Nice clean hotel.

Had a great time staying at LHotel this weekend the rooms were beautiful and well kept. We stored our luggage before our check-in time which was great to have since we’d had arrived around noon. My complaint was about ordering cocktails from the bar, a group of ladies ordered dirty martini’s before us and the person working the bar didn’t know how to make one and after it was explained he made it but charged for each individual ingredient. I ordered 2 rum and coke and had to pay for the rum separate and have the can of coke that cost me $35 for 2 small tumblers .. that’s around $17 per drink very high priced! Would definitely stay here again

Really cool hotel. I like the style and the painting around the hotel particularly the George Mansion Marciano one. I would stay there again definitely.

Nice hotel with funky vibe. Loved how they combined an older building with vibrant colors. Large room, comfortable. Very friendly staff. And included light breakfast.

We got upgraded to a suite so that was great! They seemed short staffed on a Saturday afternoon which I thought was odd, but the staff overall were very nice.

We had such an enjoyable stay. Would definitely come back and recommend to others.

Very unique property - every space is an art gallery. Really enjoyed my stay. Minor things could be attended to - mini-fridge not working, floor lamp with no plug nearby. Staff were very friendly and courteous
