The place was filthy! Hallways and room. I know the price is low but it could at the least be clean. Towels were grey. Just nasty

We chose this hotel as it was cheap in price and one of the few places available near the casino. I understand for a low price it wasn’t going to be extravagant, but it at least could have been clean. The room we got was a smoking room, which we didn’t care. However, the floors were filthy with garbage, ashes and cigarette burns. Oh, and there was black mold in the bathroom behind the toilet. The sheets were stained and crusty. When asked for new sheets, I just got dirty sheets again. Also it said breakfast was included, but it was only some juice, coffee, and some donut thing in a bag. Ugh I wish you didn’t have to spend $100s of dollars to just stay at a decent hotel. Seems like anything under is just rundown and sketchy.

Kitchen/continental breakfast very limited. Area not maintained. No juice. Only cinnamon rolls.

Worst place I’ve ever stayed and I’ve done a lot of traveling being a travel nurse. Beds were terrible very hard and uncomfortable it was like sleeping on a concrete floor . Room was somewhat clean but the mirrors were filthy. Breakfast was an absolute joke unless u like stale little Debbie snack donuts. No cups coffee or anything in the room. A lot of people there that looked like they were full time residents. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE AT ALL!!

Broke down vehicles in the parking lot, bathroom needs updates, won’t return to this location, empty vending machine, broken air conditioners and refrigerators in the hallways

When pulling back the sheets on the bed, there were huge brown stains on the sheets. There was no security lock on the back entrance of the building. The continental breakfast was about five pre-wrapped items that looked like they came from a vending machine. There was more hair than I could count on the bathroom floor and tub. The refrigerator in the room did not work well.

Container of night crawlers in fridge. Dirty shower curtain, pillows smelled like body odor. For the increase in price from the last time I stayed there, standards were much lower.

It smelled in the entire building. It was dirty. Thin bedding.

The room clearly was not vacuumed after the previous guest. There were four crumbs, spilled drink spots and spare change lying on the carpet. The toilet was ringed with disgusting stains. The room smelled bad. The garbage can outside the door to the rear parking lot was filled and needed to be emptied. There were broken down window AC units stacked inside the door. There was a car with front end collision damage parked right in front of the lobby entrance with broken parts lying in the asphalt in front of the car. The whole place was a joke. I took all of 5 minutes to walk out and find another place for the night.

This hotel needs to be closed and redone, whoever owns this hotel should be embarrassed! The toilet had poop on/in it! Bath Ceiling was covered in mold, sheets stained, towels stained, tile falling apart on the floor, toilets clogged, shower drain and sink slow draining door latches broken, TV not functioning, Light switch broken, 2 hard double beds, only 2 towels in the first room, 1 in the next. if it hadn't been so late, we would have left. The office person took 15mins to show up, on several different occasions. Never staying there again.

The shower and sink backed up. The entire facility had not been cleaned. The baseboards were dirty, the hallways had not been vacuumed, and wash clothes stuck in the bathroom vent. The bedframe had 3 metal frames sticking out under the mattresses about 5 inches. There were not many hotel options in Hastings.

Outstanding property. Very quiet, centrally located, and well kept. I would highly recommend this property to everyone. I have additional trips planned for this area and would love to stay at place again.

i mean i understand its cheap but how much does it take to clean the rooms, vacuum the floors

Very unclean bathroom which I ended up cleaning myself as I was exhausted and didn't want any conflict. However I did reach out to the front desk but no offer to change rooms or discount the rate at the very least. It was inexpensive however so maybe the property is doing the best they can but not a good experience from my perspective.

This was a budget start so I wasn't expecting 4 star anything. But although it was advertised that someone would be at the front desk 24/7 I had to wait 10 minutes for the guy to show up at check in and there was nobody there when I tried to check out. Too was ok, carpet was filthy and it was dirty in the hallways, so just not a great vibe. But dining options nearby. Why was it rated 7plus stars? Ill never know. 5 at best.
