I like it close to free way shopping

phone & wi-fi access was terrible. that said the room was surprisingly quiet considering how close to freeway we were & very convenient to places we went tho none were 'walkable' still the staff were excellent & very helpful (due to train schedule we arrived quite late and they were most accomidating = loved having a fridge/microwave- tv service was great. i personally found the mattress hard but i like a softer one. wish they had softer pillows tho. -- this is not against the room - i just find the platform bed style they use (as does motel 6 etc) to be very uncomfortable as the mattress slides around on it. but thats just not a preference of mine.

Everything good except the freeway noise close by. Better window insulation. Thanks

El piso está sucio, mal trapeado. Te paras descalzo en el piso y las plantas de los pies le quedan negros de sucios. No hay plancha, el aire de la calefaccion huele a cucarachas...huele feo. Las camas no son Queen son más pequeñas. Los colchones son incómodos. No hay conectores electricos a un nivel adecuado en la mesa de noche en medio de las camas, no hay reloj de mesa. No hay papel ni lapiceros en el escritorio. La tina está en mal estado se ve vieja y sucia. Necesitan renovarla o pintarla, da mal aspecto. Las ventanas no aislan el ruido de afuera se escuchan todos los carros que pasaban. Las ventanas no tienen bloqueador de luz, se pasa la luz de afuera. Los basureros no tienen bolsas plásticas.

Always clean and staff friendly and attentive to all

i recently stayed in Room 227 at Americas Best Value Inn Richmond San Francisco. The room itself was clean and had all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making check-in and check-out hassle-free. However, I did experience some issues with noise from the adjoining room. There is a connecting door between rooms, which unfortunately didn’t provide enough sound insulation. Sounds from the neighboring room were quite noticeable, affecting the overall peace and quiet. Despite this, the location was convenient, and the service was good. If you’re sensitive to noise, you may want to request a room without an adjoining door.

Muy limpio y no tiene mal aroma, en cuanto entras se ve la limpieza, ( en cuarto para no fumadores ) me hospede en el segundo piso.

Great place for the Price. Incredibly friendly staff and provided everything we needed, including extra pillows.

We asked for a couple extra pillows and the housekeepers and the dude at the front desk acted like we was asking for a refund. The door in our room was a ridiculous patch job that could've easily been fixed by just replacing the whole door. The maintenance man should be fired there. 100.

Very nice staff and very hospitable.

This place was freightening to stay in. From the moment we arrived, there were people openly using drugs just outside the hotel – it felt completely unsafe. Inside, things somehow got worse. The bathroom had visible mold, the rooms reeked of filth, and everything felt extremely dirty and poorly maintained. This is not just a run-down hotel – it’s a health and safety hazard. I can’t stress this enough: do not ever bring your family or children here. I wouldn’t even recommend it to someone traveling alone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or unsafe in a hotel in my life. Avoid this place at all costs

Super nice and I called to ask for an extra cot bed- they changed us to a bigger room and gave us the cott for free!
