I reserved the room online. I drove to the property to check in. I handed in my driver license. The person in the front desk told me that they don’t accept reservations from local so he cancelled my reservation right away when he saw my address is from Thunder Bay. That was shocking, and never heard anything like this. Overall the front desk person was good and nice and helped me get room from another hotel by checking online and calling. I really didn’t understand why they are not welcoming people from local. That’s the only hotel that does this. I don’t recommend any online reservation in this specific hotel.

We stayed two nights - our room wasn’t cleaned the first night. People were in the halls all night both nights, loud, yelling and banging on things. Bathroom was dated- rust in bathtub. Smelt like cigarettes

Staff are friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel suits its purpose - a place to crash while in Thunder Bay. The breakfast is decent. The hotel is aging, but parts are currently under renovation.

The loud room heater, which produces an extremely loud fan noise, completely disrupted our sleep.

Great location, easy to park, clean and comfortable. Rooms were slightly small with only one chair and rooms allowed for a lot of noise from the halfway to be heard. Great staff, free breakfast was minimal but sufficed.

The ladies at the desk in the morning were great. The hotel is really outdated and in need of repair. Our room ceiling looked like it was falling apart, the gas line was connected through inside the room, the room was cold and no extra blanket in the room. The bathtub bottom was angled so it was uneven trying to stand in the shower. Breakfast choices were very limited. I can’t recommend this hotel. Quite surprising for Super 8.
