Lovely place, would have been nicer if more central

All the staff at the front desk that I encountered were great. The Hotel did not have the A/C on in the rooms, only in the common areas and it was hot while I was there(80). There are no washcloths in the bathroom and the hotel does not have one iron or ironing board available. No ice machines either and trying to get ice from the staff was difficult. Additionally, the bar is not open during the day however were able to get a server to serve us a drink. The hotel is about a 45 minute walk to the either the Vatican and Colosseum. Lots of places to eat, drink and shop on the way as well.

The hotel has a quite cool and unique style. Calm neighbourhood with good bus connections. However: You can hear EVERYTHING that goes on in the hall way. There is absolutely no isolation (to the hall way), so you hear everything from whispering, walking and the elevator to slamming doors (They really do slam shut) The rooms give the impression of being dirty because they're so worn: Miscolourings and old stains on the walls and floor (carpet floors....) as well as in the shower. Some of the hall ways looked refurbished, but the part I was in at least was not. AC didn't work/was not adjustable from room.

The hotel was really nice , modern and good location. The staff not too friendly specially the Bartender Very RUDE . But overall was good.

Everything was perfect, staff were very helpful and friendly. Easy bus to city centre and good buffet breakfast included though menu was same everyday. Only thing I would like to mention is we were there in mid of April, it was bit hot at night and no air condition as per government policy until June.

Easy access to everything

The hotel was good and staff was friendly.

The water from both the shower and taps smelled like feces, which made the stay quite uncomfortable. Additionally, I was surprised that front desk staff handed out room keys without properly verifying ID, confirming names, or checking the length of stay; this raised some serious concerns about security.

The property was clean and the location was overall good. Walkable distance from restaurants cafes etc. my complaint was that Staff were unpleasant and rude. I booked the hotel for two people. Arrived at the hotel with the second person I booked for and a friend who was accompanying us while we got ready for to go out to eat etc. Staff made her leave her id card which we thought was normal and part of hotel rules. As soon as we finished checking in the hotel staff named Filipo asked us if she was staying. I explained we were only going upstairs to get ready and coming right out. When I asked him what were the rules when it came to having guests upstairs he told us it was allowed but she couldn’t stay overnight. I emphasized she was not staying overnight. We went upstairs and half an hour later we received a phone call asking if she was still upstairs and what time she was leaving, this was around 10:30. Once again, I explained we’re getting ready to come out so she would be leaving with us shortly. We left the hotel to go have dinner right next door and because I had a headache, I came back to the hotel, alone, to get my headache medicine. The new staff at the time around 11 asked me once again if my friend was staying overnight after we all had already left the building. I felt harassed and uncomfortable through out the stay at Albany hotel and would not recommend to a friend. This will be my first and last time staying here as I felt the staff were rude and disrespectful.

We got a room on the upper floor with a tiny upper window, quite low ceilings, no view. When we asked why this room, is it only one available as we booked well in advance, they said that was the room we booked (we just asked for a double or king bed, it was double bed put together). The decor was original though.

Overall good experience. Just a bit disappointed at the checkout. We were leaving very early and were told the packed breakfast will be waiting for us and wasn’t. We’re also told to pay for water from mini bar that one of the cleaners took out and left on the table leaving us with assumptions it was complimentary.

The hotel was beautiful. Loved the colors. 15 minutes from most attractions by taxi. The staff was lovely. Highly recommend. Will stay again when I'm in Rome.

Parking not available as promised

No air conditioning but weather was great.

Clean and modern room, great front desk staff, very good breakfast. It is fairly easy to get around with public transportation to visit the main attractions.

The hotel is good. Very close to Borghese park, nice neighborhood but a bit a walk to city center. The breakfast was decent.

Aspetti positivi: Struttura collegata comodamente, tramite bus, sia con la Stazione Termini che con il centro. Assistenza al cliente molto buona in fase di prenotazione. Camera e bagno puliti. Kit cortesia completo. Wi fi gratuito efficiente e frigo bar. Stanze silenziose. Aspetti negativi Assistenza cliente meno accurata in presenza, sensazione di poca comunicazione interna del personale. Camera molto piccola, ampio il bagno in compenso, ma con arredi e dotazioni piuttosto datati e usurati. L'albergo ha un fronte migliore sulla strada, la mia camera però affacciava su un cortile interno con palazzi alti e relative finestre per cui era necessario tenere chiuse le tende. Colazione al di sotto delle aspettative, commento che ho sentito fare da molti altri clienti.

On arrival we were greeted with indifference, and nobody had informed us in advance that the garage was under construction, so there was no parking on site. There was no indication either on the hotel website or on Ebookers, despite prior notification on my part. The furnishings are old and very shabby. Breakfast buffet is not worth mentioning, offers only the bare essentials. The cleanliness is okay. On the whole, certainly not a 4-star hotel.

First time to Rome, this hotel is a bit away from center but you can take public bus to get there. Once you find the route via Google map, it would be easy. Breakfast is great for us. Recommended
