The room they assigned us didn't have a working door, so they gave us another room. The air conditioner blew water and soaked the carpet, and the sink was clogged. The next day they moved us to another room. The rooms were also very old.

We stayed three nights at the Comfort Inn Old Town this week and this 👏 hotel 👏 RULES 👏👏👏!!! The second we met the concierge (bald gentleman with tattoos) we knew it was going to be awesome—he was so helpful and friendly! We switched towels after showering and got fresh ones right away. The parking was abundant and safe, we got the same nice spot all three nights and it was a BREEZE getting on I-5 to head out! Loved that the hotel is around the corner from Old Town—wound up spending our downtime walking there for the art and treats (food is kind of pricey so we drove to the several close by places for supper). The room was clean, breakfast was awesome (shout out to the sweet lady keeping everything stocked) and the breakfast enchilada (?) was gourmet and set the morning off for us!!!! The rooms were insanely comfortable and peaceful, we were in the room right next to the elevator which made me nervous and why?? You couldn’t hear ANYTHING in there!? The second you step outside it’s nonstop planes and cars (what’re you gonna do) but even with the cleaning carts rolling around we weren’t awaken once! Which leads me to my only complaint—these beds are DANGEROUSLY comfortable!!!! WOW! We spent the days at beaches, botanical gardens, the swap meet, and sampling all the awesome fish tacos around town…and yet….all I could think about was snuggling up in the spotless, perfect temperature, unbelievably perfect beds that are at the hotel. Don’t “sleep” on this hotel folks.

Nice and friendly people

The breakfast area was good. Only one side of the toaster was working. The manager said he ordered a toaster weeks ago and it still had not come in. The pool was clean. But the entire building has been neglected for years and it shows. Our room was sub par. It did not have a phone, and there was food and trash underneath our bed. I would not stay here again.

I paid for King room. The room was the tinniest room I have ever seen. The bed was more like full size. It def was not a king. Our door was literally right next to elevator. All night long we heard people coming & going, It was so loud plus we had a service dog that barked everytime she heard someone at the elevator. It was so hot in the room. It never cooled off in there. The room was so outdated. It looked like a room from the 1970’s. Reminded me of a room that would be used for hourly services. The parking lot was so tiny and then there was a parking garage that our truck barely fit into for real. The laundry is in the parking garage. Never seen such a mess. The manager was rude. Worst money I ever spent on hotel. I had reserved 3 nights. We stayed for 1. I cancelled the other two. I knew I would get refunded for the 2nd night cause it wasn’t 24hrs notice but I should have been refunded for the 3rd night. Front desk & manager gave me the run around & never did refund my money. But I was not staying another night in that run down tiny place. The room was smaller than my bedroom. It was like a 12x12 room.

The only pro was the free breakfast and polite staff even though the room was a huge disappointment. For decent reviews and a high price range I had higher expectations. I couldn’t get the TV to work, and the bathtub was peeling.

every time my husband or I needed something from the front desk there was nobody there. our room seemed only moderately clean and the bathroom door in our room locks from the outside— so super creepy.

Very nice hotel and close to shopping, beach and restaurants also the breakfast is very good with variety ... the only downside is the pool was closed, getting in the pool is one of things we like to do

The stuff were so nice, my car broke down 2 hr before getting to hotel and had to rent another hotel, called comfort inn and explained my situation and they were so understanding about it

Right off the freeway. I liked that.

We didn't even end up staying at the hotel. We accidentally chose the wrong date and when we called to make the change they said they did not do that nor did they provide a refund due to 3rd party business with Hotels.com. I asked to speak to a manager and they said the manager was on vacation. Like what? Not nice at all. Wouldn't want to stay at a place where they don't treat people well and do the right thing. Customer service 👎👎👎

There were 3 inch cockroaches coming out of the refrigerator in the room, paint chipping in the bathroom and the curtains had black stains on them

Liked everything.

The elevator was filthy and had graffiti. The room smelled like mildew and the carpets in the halls and room were worn and dirty. I wouldn't stay here again.
