Staff were excellent and the breakfast provision was also very good. The room was ok and a decent size. The cold tap wouldn’t move atall though when we tried to have a bath. We had to run cold into the bath through the showerhead. Plenty of parking though which was also free which isn’t a given everywhere anymore.

This is the second time I have stayed here.Everything about it is excellent, awesome customer service, great hotel and restaurant. Easy access to local historic areas. I will stay here again! Thanks Sharon for being so amazing!

Really impressed with the quality across all areas from accommodation to public areas to dining facility and menu, and last but not least, the breakfast room and options. The hotel exceeded our expectations and we will be back.

Large, airy room. All very clean. Friendly and professional staff. Highlight was the buffet breakfast.

Been here a number of times it’s a little gem. Great parking facility, fantastic location, lovely bar restaurant and little beer garden too,Sparkly clean rooms with toiletries and bottled water, lovely friendly staff . Food is so tasty and freshly cooked. Highly recommend

The hotel is wonderful, spotlessly clean, very friendly, helpful staff and a great location. The room is very comfortable and clean and quiet. The breakfast is delicious with lots of choice. Overall a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend xx

Staff are excellent especially Neil on the reception desk. Pub across the road. City centre 10 minute walk. Room excellent too. Breakfast is also excellent aswell. Can't fault this hotel.

Shops and a pub near by. Town is 10 mins away they do food and drink

The city centre is 15 minutes walk from the Cumbria Park Hotel. Very easy to walk down the main road. Our room at the hotel was absolutely lovely along with the bathroom. The bar, restaurant and breakfast room all perfect. Free parking at the rear of the property. Very highly recommend.

Restaurant was nice

The hotel is well located for City Centre and onward travel to Scotland or North East. The rooms were lovely, warm and comfortable. Nice bedding and towels. Everything seemed new. The staff at reception and breakfast were very helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice and topped up regularly. Gluten free cereal available.

Fantastic hotel. Lovely staff and superb breakfast. Free upgrade and chocs for my big birthday was a lovely touch.
