Our room, though small, was clean and comfortable. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent as it's close to the ferry, dining and shops. Parking is in the lot behind which is great for transferring your luggage. Breakfast is good with milk alternatives.

Great restaurant, great location for the ferry

Good value for money but definitely a no frills hotel. Our room was on the third floor with no elevator and no offer of help with suitcases was disappointing.

Everything went smoothly. Room has had a refurb and was basic but clean and comfy. Fan supplied due to the summer heat, bathroom very spacious. We enjoyed our stay. Perfect for the cost

It was pretty and well located. The bed covers looked like they'd never been washed. Property itself could have been much cleaner for the price we paid. Carpets were not clean either. We expected a much better kept property based on the price we paid and the photos online. Also, the staff seemed indifferent. They weren't rude, but they were not as inviting as we would have expected. Perhaps they can be reminded of where they work and that they represent your property. More engaging behaviour would have made a positive difference and would have reflected better for your property. Thank you.

Forholdsvis nyoppusset rom. Stort bad, men lavt trykk på vannet i 3.etasje. Rent. Svært hyggelig og serviceinnstilt personale. God parkeringsplass. Veldig sentral plassering.

Excellent staff! Excellent views of the harbor. Rather older hotel, could use an update. Shampoo and conditioner would be nice, extra paper goods in room. Not sure why a full breakfast is required vs coffee shop a la carte. Parking area good.

No spoons to make tea or coffee. The seagulls kept me up all night, not the hotels fault but not a great sleep.

Friendly staff, clean room & good parking facilities for motorcycles

When we arrived early for check-in were greeted by a dour receptionist who informed us that our room was not ready. We didn’t expect it to be but she seemed somewhat indignant that we’re were early. We then asked to book for dinner which we were told was done but when we arrived for dinner at 7:00pm we were told we didn’t have a booking but they’d let us in anyway (to an almost empty dining room!!!). Service was truculent and the food was somewhat ordinary. We were then asked for a 10% tip!!! Needless to say we declined. All in all a very ordinary hotel experience.

We stayed as part of our NC500 tour. The parking was plentiful and was a nice touch to see specific motorbike parking. Check in was slow due to a coach party arriving just after us but we were made to wait. Room was small, beds were comfy but the walls were so thin we could hear everything on each room either side of us. Decent WiFi and decent pressure from the shower. Breakfast was an extra charge. Good coffee machine and plenty of choice to suit all diets.

Great position, pleasant staff. Rooms well appointed although no shampoo/conditioner provided. The hotel could do with soundproofing.

We stayed in The Caledonian, a delightful hotel in charming Ullapool. We got a room with a lovely bay window overlooking the town and harbour. The mini-bar was free, which was a very nice touch. Very clean and comfortable. Ullapool has good amenities for the tourist, quaint shops and cafes, a supermarket, a lovely bookshop. Lovely place to stay.
