This HoJo is nice. The location is very convenient for me and my family that lives nearby. We use this location often. It’s clean and the breakfast is a nice bonus for traveling and expenses. I would definitely recommend.

safe quiet

Unfortunately not a great stay. Desperately needed a good shower for pre surgery purposes and it only came out like a drinking fountain. Front desk said someone would come fix it but they did not. I went to the desk and the woman on the phone did not acknowledge me, finally hung up, turned away to get her purse then walked past me and left without a word. No one else was around. The breakfast was always depleted and it appeared no one was around to restock. Bummer.

Pluses: Close (walkable) to downtown; Friendly staff; Clean; Comfortable; Price. Negatives: Floors that were poorly installed and which made for a very noisy night having to hear the people in the room directly above.

We stayed from Monday-Friday with no room cleaning of any kind. Had to ask for more towels. Dated room, light fixture broken, stain on chair, broken towel bar. Door did not shut well. Did not empty trash. Liked location to subway.

When I arrived for check-in, the entire center of town was shut down for a parade! I had to park five blocks away and walk in the rain to my hotel! The business never contacted me or told me anything about this. Extremely frustrating!

Good choice

Boston central is so damn expensive ; this is the cheapest alternative which is still pricey for a upscale motel Nice thing is close to ferry In which is the whole purpose to ferry over to downtown.

A decent hotel for a 1-night stay. Just not a great place with outdated and slightly run-down facility.

Bathroom was dirty. Toliet roll disoenser was missing from the wall. There was wine or blood spatter on the bathroom wall and ceiling. They also gave my room to a new guest while I was still there. A patron walked into my room while I was in there during my last nightm

Clean, all the amenities worked, nice location not too far from the red line and the staff was friendly! Would stay here again!

It was as advertised, location was ideal, expensive for what you get, but that is what it costs to be close to downtown Boston Breakfast was just ok, could have been better

The hotel was decent, needs minor repairs. Light breakfast was a treat. Showers were the best, strong pressure. Love the diversity of pillows. Disappointed the front desk could not give change for the vending machines.

It was nice and quiet and easy check in. Parking was great and great area! Not so far from Fenway.
