Outstanding view, breakfast was fantastic, very clean, and convieniently located. Highly recommend.

The hotel is beautiful - very midern with clean lines and lots of glass. Very clean facility overall as well as the room. The breakfast buffet was excellent and included standard European fare as well as American classics - American coffee as well as espresso and cappuchino were provided by self-service machines.

Television were very difficult to use; Not enough towels; Not enough toilet paper and Kleenex

DATED is an understatement. This hotel still has beds from the 70s, furniture from the 60's and not worth the $$. Staff is great. But be warned, you are about to sleep on a bed of bricks wondering why you ended up here. They rest their laurels on the views.

Great location in the heart of Taormina. Nice pool. Place needs a facelift. Staff was nice not great. They have a strict towel policy where you can’t leave the property with their towels - we had a boat trip and needed to bring towels so had to buy from a store.

This room was a great size and the separate shower/ toilet to sink area and large wardrobe room was great when you have four people sharing. The room had plenty of space and the balcony and seabird were great. We found the breakfast quality to be good and varied and loved the pool ( big enough to swim in properly and not too busy). Yes the hotel is down or up a steep drive depending which way you approach and driving through Taormina isn’t easy ( narrow streets and people everywhere) but the town is beautiful and the hotel was in a great location - easy walk to restaurants. We did a road trip around Sicily and this was one of our favourites in terms of location, room, view, food and pool.

We loved our stay at the Eurostars Monte Tauro! The view from our terrace was stunning! The room is a little dated but clean and had everything we needed. The staff was excellent. Everyone was pleasant, helpful and professional. Highly recommend this property to my friends and family!

Do yourself a favor: choose another hotel. Like several other reviews mention — and I can confirm — this hotel is sadly neglected and in a miserable state: broken shower door, ripped-off moldings, broken sun loungers, etc. The list is long! Cleanliness is poor: I found someone else's hair on the sink counter and on my bed at check-in. Old band-aids lay around the pool area for two days. A half-eaten, rotting apple was decomposing among the flowers on the room balcony. The balconies are filthy, the public toilets are dirty — and on and on. It’s a shame, because the location is good and the view is beautiful, but everything else shows a blatant lack of care — especially for the price. The internet doesn’t work — the Wi-Fi is extremely slow. I emailed them before my arrival to organize my trip and an excursion, and they took more than 10 days to reply — an unreasonable delay for customer service. Getting to the hotel is dangerous, with a steep slope and a 180-degree turn. At least they offer valet parking for €30 per night. I chose this hotel last minute because it was the only one available with a room for three people. But don’t make the same mistake — avoid this hotel.

Das Hotel ist in einem dekadenten Zustand. Man hat das Gefühl, dass seit Jahren keine Wartungen und Renovierungen statt gefunden haben. Viel zu teuer. Aussicht ist traumhaft.

Hotel sensacional, em todos os aspectos! Otima localização, otimas instalações, otima comida e atendimento de absolutamente todos os colaboradores excepcional! Destaque para o Nino que faz a gente se sentir em casa. A rampa ingrime para acessar o hotel passa a ser um mero detalhe diante de tantas coisas boas!

Trevlig personal i receptionen, delvis språksvaga (engelska) men överlag ok. Tjejen som checkade in oss sa att turistskatten kostade oss 40€/pp/natt när den i själva verket kostade 4€pp/natt, vi bad henne upprepa informationen och fick samma svar båda gångerna. Ingen katastrof, men önskvärt att personalen i receptionen är korrekt. Frukostpersonalen var fantastiska, och frukosten toppen! Bra utbud och goda råvaror. Sängarna var fruktansvärda, stenhårda och trots att vi bad om en bäddmadrass alt flera täcken att ligga på så hände inget, vi fick säga till 4 gånger innan vi fick ett tunt madrass skydd, nåväl, alltid något. En av herrarna som arbetar vid poolen var väl kanske en aningen för sur för att ha en serviceroll på hotellet, vi vittnade flera som fick utskällningar runt polen om de plaskade i/runt poolen, något överdrivet. På det stora hela en fin upplevelse, bra location, men inte ett 4 stjärningt hotell, 3 på sin höjd. Rekommenderar absolut hotellet, men är man lättviktare kommer man få problem med ryggen redan efter första nattens sömn.

The hotel has a great location amazing view to the sea, pool, and breakfast. The building itself has been very poorly maintained , and it is visible everywhere, and in our room the was a leakage in the bathroom first night, but they managed to repair day later. Recommend using Lumbi parking instead of driving to the hotel as the streets are very narrow.

We stay here every year

Beautiful Views and really good service. Sure, maybe there is room for upgrades but I liked the retro feel. I would return for the pool and the view. It's walking distance to so many wonderful things. Yes, you do need to be able to walk up a hill to get to the town but it wasn't a bother for us but something to note if walking is difficult for some.

Good property and very good service

The location is perfect to explore Taormina with shops, restaurants and tourist attractions within a few minutes walk. The hotel itself is unique built into the cliff and the views are breathtaking. The pool is clean is spacious and always had sun loungers available. Our room was fairly basic but it was extremely clean! The front desk could be a little bit more friendly, but overall the staff across the hotel were fine. Be aware that the hotel does not offer an iron or ironing board, which was pretty inconvenient. Overall, I’d highly recommend this hotel due to its location in Taormina.
