Staff was great, but few minor mishaps as no towels had to request on two occasions and TV was having issues, other than minor issues everything was great. Ramada was in a good location and ocean was there outside your doorstep.

The staff was why I stayed… the Front Desk Manager and her staff was phenomenal with handling my situation!

The staff here seemed annoyed to be there at work, although none of them were rude. Our room felt very unsanitary and the bathrooms looked very dirty. We were afraid of catching a foot fungus/condition or something, so we always made sure to wear shoes too. I would not recommend this place. You can find better for the equivalent price.

The air conditioner was barely enough but otherwise it was a good place for the cost. Breakfast was terrific

The hotel was far from any other businesses or properties. Our first and second breakfasts were very good, but it went down hill after that. There was a definite decline in the food preparation. The rooms were passable and housekeeping did make every attempt to keep them clean. You cannot drink the tap water so we had to find a market to buy bottled water. The rooms were definitely showing signs of wear and the hotel has seen better days. Updates are severely needed. We had reservations for 10 days, but due to weather conditions all tour activities were cancelled, so we changed our flight reservation and came home four days earlier. On the plus side, there was a recreational park near by that had various food vending shacks and we found one that had the best tacos. We were also able to discover a restaurant about 6 or 7 blocks away so we went there for dinner one night. The Italian food was outstanding, but we could have order just one dish for the two of us. Unfortunately our trip to Balize City was an experience, but we would not go there again. If you want to go to Balize, stay at one of the cayes.

There was a water leak in one room that caused all of our clothes to get wet. The staff was to know of no help. We have a video of it, and we don’t know where the water came from in the wall, maybe from the construction on the other side, who knows and all they offered to do was try to close which they didn’t even try them properly. All the clothes stunk. The Second room the AC didn’t even get cold so we’re all suffering in that room with the heat The third room, the shower was pretty much broken splash and they were kind of exploded on my son and so the show was horrible

Check in was easy, we had a last minute change day of to change our room from what we had reserved, that was relatively easy. The room was run down, not very clean a/c made a clunking noise all night we were too tired to complain that night but in the morning requested a different room, better cleaner room but still felt like a cheap hotel. Breakfast was good hot fresh buffet style local food. Lobby and restaurant felt hot like the a/c is not working well. Went to gym the thread mill didn’t work didn’t stay long. Bar has a long happy hour stop at 8pm.

Very clean room, breakfast excellent and staff friendly

First time we stayed there. Room was nice but the smell of the seaweed sargassum was over welhming .. tv didn’t work.. then on our second stay here the room was grimy ac was. Mediocre at that. Woke up in the middle of the night sweating.. then in the next morning we were getting tract to check out zz but wanted to shower first.. come to find out the shower was broken.. and that was the icing on the cake .

This place had mold all over the bathroom. You could smell it when you walked in the door. Very unclean and not well maintained. The people at the casino were NOT friendly. I would not recommend staying here. We left and went to another hotel.

The location is great! Right on the water. However, this hotel needs major renovation and improvements. The bathrooms are bad!! The free breakfast was okay. The staff was pleasant and helpful. For the money and only 1 night, it was okay. Nothing to rave about!
