Functional but very noisy as described in previous reviews. This is not the hotels fault but people screaming at 4 in the morning is something that perhaps need to be raised with the surrounding businesses and council.

Excellent location, comfortable beds, very clean and compact but plenty space.

Great comfort and location

The room was in poor condition and the bed uncomfortable. Ensuite in state of disrepair.

Comfortable room with efficient roomy shower and easy to operate. Well planned room for an inexpensive stay.

Central location but the hotels very dated and tired and in dire need of an update!

In general areas carpets were filthy and very worn. Staff seemed inexperienced and the manager was extremely rude when trying to sort out a problem.

Was ok great for a basic central hotel

Much better room than you would expect for a 2 star property; everything is a good size, the bed is decent (firm mattress). Lift broke down which wasn't ideal as I'm disabled.

Over priced and located next to a cluster of noisy night clubs and bars. Although ear plugs were provided free of charge. Bed very uncomfortable. Building was filthy and stank. The staff however were pleasant and polite and helpfull. Concern is more the management and over seeing. Company clearly doesnt care much about customer comfort and satisfaction. Breakfast was charged at double rate on here! £21 Expedia clearly extorting!

A very easy to use budget hotel in a usefully central position. Car-parking was very useful, if difficult to find at first. What spoiled it for us was the noise outside our first floor window, with late-night rowdiness and vomiting followed by a cacophany of morning deliveries summed up by the voice of a driver after what sounded like the collapse of a building saying 'well if they weren't awake before, they are now, haha!'

Free parking friendly staff nice room but wasn't cleaned some food left on floor had to put in bin staff not checked it after cleaning only large towels supplied no small towels given for face hotel policy not good news to review that maybe they don't want to carry out too much cleaning first hotel I have come across for many years.nice breakfast

Location is excellent

Great location with in site parking. Easy walk to the castle and cathederal

Really surprised how great it was - will book Ibis in the future
