Our third floor room has been fully remodelled and was quite lovely specially the bathroom. Breakfast is available for a modest fee but there is some room for improvement there. The pool area is inside and lovely but was very hot and humid on a 30 degree day. Overall a good value for an overnight stay.

Frontdesk staff specially Miss Marie was very polite,respectful and welcoming. Room and bathroom were clean.Pool was clean Only had a little trouble with keycards for getting in the room.It was good overall stay.

It was decent. Staff was friendly.

I didn't know that we wouldn't have an outside facing window or how important that would be for my wife. Pool was pretty good.

The staff were away from the desk for 10 min upon check-in, the room was questionably clean with dingy sheets and a silverfish on the floor, the pool was nice but the whirlpool didn't turn on and the pool area was ridiculously hot, making our room facing the courtyard also very hot ... Overall the stay was safe and we slept. It was just ok.

It's was ok

When we arrived check in took 30 minutes. The hotel is dirty and not well maintained. It looks like they are days away from bulldozing the entire hotel. There was hardly any air conditioning in the building and the pool area and abandoned restaurant area was over 40 degrees celsius with no a/c and no air flow in the space at all. This actually made us sick from the heat so we couldn't use the pool at all. The swimming pool area was also absolutely filthy. The air conditioner in our room was loud and barely operating. Our family could not sleep due to the noise and temperature in the room. I brought these issues to the hotel staff's attention, and they have done nothing to resolve them. I usually make a point of only writing good reviews, but I had to warn people about this hotel.

Our room had been newly renovated and it was very nice. Comfortable beds, and the bathroom was clean and nicely appointed. We stayed on the pool side and there was no noise. It is also within walking distance of several restaurants. I recommend this hotel.

Clean rooms and a central location in Castlegar. Nice Atrium with a Pool & Hot Tub

Very good staff. I didn’t book two nights in hotels.com so I had to do a separate booking for another night. Staff was very friendly in letting me keep the same room without having to check out and check back in.

pool was okay but closes at 9:30; the whole building interior was a bit dark and musty smelling, needs an upgrade and better ventilation; air conditioner very noisy and minimally effective; a nice building but in need of upgrades.
