Great location, and friendly staff.

The staff was excellent, the rooms were far better than I expected. It is so worth the rate they were asking! You just have to get past what it looks like from the outside. It does not match the greatness of the rooms;)

Great location to the 8 Ave and Prince’s Island Park. If you like the Asian food, China Town is not far from your hotel.

Nice location, about 5 minute walk to food, shops, and public transportation. clean, spacious rooms. friendly, helpful staff (Mark gets his own 5 stars).

The staff was lovely and the highlight of my stay. The building was worn down (old dirty rugs in the halls, for example, and old very loud air conditioner/heater in the bedroom). The room was clean and well organized, but smelled like cigarette smoke. The smell of cigarette smoke made the place seem stuffy. Perhaps I am sensitive to cigarette smoke. I felt over-charged for what I got.

Very clean, large one bedroom suite all equipped kitchen. One of the nicest hotels I've stayed in especially for the price. Had a good selection of food to purchase to cook in your room. Perfect location downtown

Needed two night stay for work. Westin was my first choice to get Marriot points but was $700 per night for a regular room!!!! Went to Expedia to look in same area and came across the Coast. For an average of $210.00 night including parking i got a dedicated one bedroom with kitchen and sitting area. what value. you can tell the motel is abit older, some updates done, but that goes the same for Westin rooms. would HIGHLY recommend the Coast if staying downtown Calgary. good amenities and close to most things / places, Super friendly staff (front desk, cleaning staff). Great value.

Pretty decent traveler’s hotel that seems to cater to large tour groups. To-go options for breakfasts and the kitchen in our room was super convenient tho we didn’t use it. Parking was convenient on site, and it’s centrally located in downtown Calgary. The only downside was that our room was (I think) on top of a major machine room - so the floor and bed picked up the vibration throughout our stay, but we were tired enough it didn’t bother us much during our stay.

Great location, staff were kind, and room was nice and clean. There were amenities like the gym but we didn’t get to use it during our stay. Would definitely come again!
