Maravilhoso bote. Quarto espaçoso e café da manhã excelente.

Localização excelente, 5 min andando para a Arena de Verona. O café da manhã é muito bom. Apenas um ponto de melhoria é o bom do banheiro que era aberto e após o banho o banheiro ficava todo molhado.

The location is terrific except for the noise from the main road (but that was exceptionally bad because of a motor rally taking place through the evening). The rooms are a big t basic but comfortable and with decent WiFi. If you arrive before check in or you want to leave baggage for a while after checking out there is simply an unsupervised basement cupboard which felt very open to theft. A big for sure for us was that our air conditioning unit was completely out of action. It made for a sticky night and if it had been later in the month or in July it would have been intolerable Last thing: they promised in advance to put a kettle in the room. They hadn’t done so but produced one when I asked. However, every time we used it the fuse n the fuse box tripped. So boiling any water took three or four resets of the fuse. That raises a question about electrical safety.

Overall it was a very nice hotel, located very close to Piazza Bra. I really liked that the bed had a hard mattress. One thing I do not like is sleeping on a soft mattress. Also liked that this hotel do not have carpet floors on their rooms, making it more hygienic. The bath room had a rain shower head which I like, but the top shower plate was too close the the wall, and I had to stand right at the wall in order to shower, stepping one step away from the wall and almost no water would fall on me. There was a TV in the room, but since it did not have Chromecast it is pretty much useless unless you really enjoy watching Italian TV. There was only one power socket in the room for Type C Europlug. There was a additional Type L socket next to the bed, but I could not connect my Type-C cable into that. One thing bothered me so much that this hotel does not get top marks from me. Every morning like clockwork around 7-8 AM I smelled someone smoking or had been smoking. This disgusting smell came into my room, and I could not sleep after that. Either some guests or staff where smoking. I am not sure how that smell came into my room, since I think smoking inside the hotel is forbidden by Italian law. Most likely someone had been smoking outside and they brought that smell with them inside (such smell can permeate the breath and clothes of those who smoke). The hotel cant do anything about guests or staff smoking outside. BUT, such smell should not be able to come into my room.

Nossa estadia foi ótima! Equipe muito gentil e atenciosa, café da manhã maravilhoso. Localização excelente a poucos passos da Arena de Verona e dos principais pontos turísticos da cidade. Quartos amplos e confortáveis. Muitos restaurantes próximos e acesso fácil com transporte perto. Recomendo o hotel

Great location, Rooms were clean but basic. A bit of noise from other guests distrusting sleep. Wide choice at breakfast. Excellent hotel for budget travellers. Verona is lovely.

Asked for a cot, they put a baby carriage instead. Would not help

O quarto estava limpo porém tinha muito mofo. O banheiro é bom porém o box e principalmente, o chuveiro péssimo. Café da manhã muito bom. Arrumaram um estacionamento porém ao custo de E$ 25,00 a pernoite

The room wasn't what we were expecting. There was a window, but it was facing other buildings like a shaft. Thus the room was too warm and we were unable to turn the AC on. Other point that was really unpleasant was the quality of the bed sheets: to noisy and uncomfortable (it wasn't cotton). The location of the Hotel and the breakfast was really good though.

A localização era muito boa, funcionários atenciosos, café da manhã completo e gostoso, quarto arrumado e limpo. Os dois únicos poréns são, o banheiro tem um cheiro desagradável e sugiro evitar os quartos da frente por causa do barulho da rua. No geral super recomendo este hotel, bom custo benefício.

Chambre très propre mais - installation électrique vieillissante : interrupteurs usés, boutons du téléphone illisibles (gênant si on a un pb de vue) - et paradoxalement la TV ultra moderne (incluse dans le pan coulissant de l’armoire) est très difficile à allumer (j’avais été quand même prévenu par l’accueil!) car il faut BIEN viser avec la télécommande une zone très réduite de la porte…

Hotel Mastino was a wonderful place to stay, right in the heart of Historic Verona. The staff was friendly & knowledgeable. The room was clean and the shower had amazing water pressure, which was fantastic! Breakfast was absolutely amazing with a variety of food to choose from. Absolutely enjoyed our stay!! Good location within walking distance to Verona city centre and a nice, spacious room. Unfortunately, the bathroom had a smell, the pillows were uncomfortable, and the breakfast was just okay.
